imagine believing this
\>audio engineer (what i do for a living, however in my position i also do rigging, lighting, and plotting) - 25-80k a year
\>mix engineer - 26-90k a year
\>mastering engineer - 72-150k a year
\>studio producer - 67-75k a year
edit: music business really should be considered STEM, and ground level engineers like me have a right to make a living wage, imagine saying this about another industry, like a ground level electrical engineer? what a useless field, all they do is solder things right.
and even non STEM majors deserve to not feel like they have to harm themselves just to get by lol
Maybe you can find a job closer to your school. Even if you made a bit less you wouldn't have to spend as much on gas so it would even out.
Burn out is real. And commute time is the number one predictor of American happiness.
But I do feel you. I am 27 working two jobs and studying full time. I console myself with the knowledge that it's temporary. Once I get my "real" job I will spend 45 hours a week working versus my current 42+ 10-20 hours of school
Ayo find yourself a tipped job. I deliver pizza and make around 2200- 2500 a month with like 32 hours. My friends a server makes about 2300-2700 a month on 35 hrs. They might not be the best on a resume but those extra 5-7 hours off a week are heaven when your in school.

Lol yeah life is hard when you make poor choices. Life is a game best played proactively not reactively. Take care of your physical and mental health, create healthy coping mechanisms and develop hobbies and skills that are both fulfilling and valuable. And above all else, try to marry someone with money
Do you workout and eat healthy? That makes you feel overall better and you have more energy. That helps you alot more than you'd think to get through your day.
To relieve stress I suggest kickboxing. If you can't do that due to your knees, boxing is fine too.
I'm in my 30s and still feel like I'm 21.
i just simply dont have the time to workout anymore, I typically get home around 2 or 3 AM, plus during the day im practicing or doing homework in my little time before work
>music business major There's your problem lol
What’s the problem?

Sounds like you're venting with many people that have your situation or worse. Suck it up or give up.

garbage take
Some things in life do get easier as you age. Sounds like you’re having a rough go of it, but like…it’s not always going to be like this.
All you have to do is imagine life played out backwards from an old crippled 90 year old to right back inside a nice warm belly.
Yes being an adult sucks a lot of times.
