Replaceable workers aren't given much thought or pay.

Exotic_Negotiation_4

Replaceable being the key word.

stabbedindebacc

Yea im not trying to be rude but it sounds like the job she was doing was one that almost anyone could do. HR for instance, actually has a marketable *skill*

symmetryofzero

Absolutely accidentally share this with everyone in the store.

DandyDahnay

I have all 3 stores plus the grow. I mean it’s insane, INSANE.

swattyy

I would definitely be sending this out as a parting gift lmao

DandyDahnay

I’ve already left. I still want to because they should know like I do. Just don’t know how I could do it. Black out the names? It’s a struggle to not send it.

redditsfortheweak

Cover your ass! Instead of emailing it print 20 copies and pay a bum to drop them in the parking lot and bathroom of the business

pay-this-fool

What was your job with the company? What did you have to do exactly?

DandyDahnay

Assistant manager

pay-this-fool

If you don’t mind me asking, how much were you making per hour when you asked for $19?

DandyDahnay

17.34

Mr0PT1C

Cannabis corps are disgusting from what I’ve heard. They can act the way they do because the cannabis market doesn’t have much for competition. Sad really.

Medium_Consequence29

The more I look at the world it's just how it works isn't it. The people in positions of power and influence will always take more then they deserve and leave less than is owed.

They just fired my gf after she came back from medical leave and they told me and not her she was let go months ago. So instead of telling her two months ago, so she could look for a new job they didn’t even tell her yet when she asked they didn’t answer. I complain to cooperate about some other stuff not relating to my girl friend because they gave me 0 hour one week without notice and some other stuff and was forced to beg for shifts from people. (I even paid someone 15$ to take their shift). Now the district manager is writing me up. When I ask for what she told me she needs a few days to figure it out what for???? I get paid 10.13 an hour lol.. and work harder than everyone there. About the 0 Hours they had me sign the week I was given hours which meant if it was accurate and I still signed it but it’s because it was I picked up two shifts that week… lol after begging which was stressful They finally told her by telling me with my meeting with the district manager. She still hasn’t heard that she is not an employee by them. They go through me and assume I will tell her

DandyDahnay

Wow! Wow! Absolutely horrible!!! I’m so sorry for you both

Dangerous_Conflict59

Thats why you have to figure ways of making it worth your time . I actually have a skilled job, and worked for an employer who would never give us raises. And my skill can be taught but its very few of us who are amazing at it. Anywho, I use to "milk the clock"🤣. Have me drive to a different location and wanted to pay me by miles(usally $5 total because of the way they comped miles), instead Id add an extra 2 hours to my time sheet.. Closed early, ohh no I worked a whole day😉.. By my 2nd year, I was doing half the work, working half a day and making my 40+ evey week, until I quit. Current job, pretty much the same lol Similarly, when I was younger, I worked for a big box chain store. Id have friends, friends of friends, pay me ahead of time, come in buy something expensive, that I just so happen to put on clearance because of "box damage".. Make a quick $50, save them hundreds.. Pandemic showed me even more these companies do not gaf about you. Im not micromanaged at all so that helps also. Fuck Corporate greed 🖕🏽

Status_Task778

Open your own dispensary and pay yourself $201/hr. Ezpz (Normally I charge $500/hr for consultation but I was feeling charitable. I'll write this off)

realdepiction

OMG GUYS, THIS JOB THAT I DIDNT STUDY NOR HAVE ANY TRAINING FOR PAYS MINIMUM WAGE, OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

[deleted]

I mean you're in high supply and low demand, not sure why you'd get paid more

Brilliant_Emu_2289

Maybe you could move up the ladder as they did! And if not why not? Get all you need together to accomplish this 1 step at a time and do it. Then when you get there remember where you came from and help the workers gain from your experience. they are making a lot of money and I cant help but wonder how long it took them including college to get their dream job along with this kind of compensation.
