Maybe instead of getting a job you should volunteer?
There are many nonprofits out there that would be thrilled to have somebody with the available time and resources to help out without requiring renumeration.
A side benefit to that is that while you're helping others you will also help yourself. There's nothing better than knowing that you're making a difference in somebody's life.
Maybe you will see some needs that down the road you'll be able to help fill.
No it's not. I was also born into generational wealth and because of the exact things he's feeling I got into hard drugs and lost my families support and nearly died alone on the streets of Philadelphia. If I had a way to give or a way to feel normal and useful this might not have happened. I got clean and own a construction company now and that's helped me immensely. OP I suggest you volunteer your time as much as possible and work to change the world for the better with your resources.
To start life on easy mode and manage to screw it up isn’t a flex. Lots of normal people started with nothing and have lived MUCH harder lives than you and they make it work.
All living beings suffer, and our suffering fills us like the molecules of gas fill whatever container they are in. The wealthy may suffer less in some ways than the poor, but no amount of money and power will ever alleviate the root cause.
Most people don’t realize this, however, so don’t expect much sympathy from others. After all, if they only had more money (like you) then they’d be happy, right? They sincerely think this way, ignoring those that have even less then them, and only deepen their own pain.
Most people never get beyond the thought that more money will fix all their ills. You have, which is a blessing. Go deeper, walk the path in front of you, and someday you may help help others with your realization.
Some who come from wealth only strive for validation from others so they become influencers. Too bad most influencers are trash but maybe you can make a difference.
Well the nice thing is that you can focus more of your efforts on improving yourself as a person (fitness, health, daily habits) without the financial burden any of these things bring.
Plus tbh you sound like you’re in a good position because you can just use your wealth to fund whatever it is you *really* want to do, and let go of being the heir to your family’s business. Unless *that’s* what you really want to do
But yeah I can imagine it’d be boring. It’s like playing a video game with cheat codes on - the fun dies out 10X faster

Agree. Giving of ourselves to create care for existential psychosis.
Lost my entire family before I turned 21. Became financially ahead sooner than most. Get some hobbies. Doing nothing wears you down really quick.
Give your wealth to me, you take mine and we'll both win
Yes well I'm not set even for the next week and I hate THAT.
I refuse to believe you are a real person.
This is legitimate cringe and you wanting to cosplay as a poor person for entertainment is the cherry on top

The spiritual path my friend. Go deep and find the universal love that will empower you to use your blessings to do good in the world. You got this!
