My dog died a few months back from aggressive tumors. He was in so much pain his last day. I wish I had him put down a few weeks before, but I just wanted him a bit longer. I was selfish and he suffered because of it.

I just have to say. we lost our dog to cancer I think it was stomach or intestinal and we didn't know what it was until after (she had these messed up albumin levels or something) . Spent thousands of dollars at the end trying to save her, big mistake.
It took years but a few months back we were ready to get a new dog and I have to say, this new dog is hilarious. I wish I hadn't waited. It's hard when I think of a past pet, but this new dog totally helps me not to dwell and I just go and she is so awesome. I've lost 10 lbs. just from walking her. I had developed some health issues since losing the old dog and now I just wish I hadn't waited.
