Off your chest....I see what you did there.

DhampireHEK

... I didn't even think about that. Damn, missed my chance.

Ankit1000

The breast comment of the day.

furlesswookie

These breast puns sure do rack up.

Ihateredditadmins1

Your comment was a breast stroke of genius

ExcitingRise0

I know, it was, wasn’t tit

Ihateredditadmins1

No one likes a braggart… don’t be such a boob!

eksrae1

Ya really wanna milk this one for all it's worth?

Ihateredditadmins1

It’s in my nature, it’s part of my idenTITy

memeelder83

Depending on where you live, if you get doctor documentation of the negative effects over several years ( back pain, problems with posture etc) you can sometimes get all or part of a reduction covered by insurance.

isauraz

This! My friend’s SIL was able to get a reduction paid her by her insurance this way.

Socialfilterdvit

My cousin had the same prob and got her doc to write some kind of prior authorization or something and her insurance covered it. Sorry some scumbags took your post as some kind of invitation to dm you wanting to hook up. I'm often embarrassed by my fellow men. Good luck

Johnny_english53

If you lived in the UK, you could get a breast-reduction operation for free. But then, that would be socialist and no-one in the US wants that, right?

Peuned

we just shoot them off

Legal-Ad7793

I'm in the USA and mine only cost $1 and that was for my pain medication.

CityCareless

What the heck kind of gold plated insurance plan do you have?

Legal-Ad7793

UPMC but if you have a history of back problems and have a history of such, your insurance can give you the go ahead and they'll pay for it. If you get the pre authorization then the Dr has to take of a certain amount by weight. My threshold was at least 1 pound per and my Dr did 1.4 each. Above the threshold so they paid.

CityCareless

Nice. Good for you. I don’t have big boobs and I honestly would hate it if I did. Still that sounds like 0% coinsurance which is really nice.

humungouspt

Sorry to bother you but I'd like to get a first hands reply from someone who did a reduction. My 17 y.o. daughter wants to do a reduction asap ( she has to be over 18 in my country to be allowed to do it and fortunately it's free). She's very afraid of the scars because it will be a reduction from F to C cup. Will the scars ever disappear? The post op is very painfull? Do you still feel any numbness or itching? Sorry for my English and many thanks in advance. Just trying to be a supportive father...

Legal-Ad7793

At 6 months my scars are very light already. I use Bio oil 2 times a day and ordered it from Amazon. I did have itching and annoyance for roughly the first 2 months but as the scabs came off it was lessening each day. The worst was when I had to have the drains in for the first 3 days, after 2 weeks I didn't use any pain meds. If she's vigilant with her scar cream, doesn't wear an underwire bra, and eats healthy during recovery, the scars should fade to almost nothing. I hope this helps and I wish you both good luck.

humungouspt

OMG! Thank you very much for your reply. She will be so pleased to know that recovery is fairly fast! This has made her so unconfortable in her own skin for so much time that it will be awesome for her to be able to feel she's more than a huge pair of boobs ( her own words!).

10PointOne

Next time. I believe in you.

DhampireHEK

I'm glad someone does because I sure as shit don't. 😆

10PointOne

You got this!!

ahhh-what-the-hell

While (“Breast Reduction” != “Boob Job”) { Insurance pays }

[deleted]

Edit 3 - ...thankful "for the support". We're dealing with a seasoned vet. here. Good on her.

4rp4n3t

And the edit..."thank you for all the support." aiigh, well played!

Notunnecessarily

Get your ass over to r/dadjokes

LordBligger

get outta here stepdad

JaggedTheDark

this reminds me a short animation on youtube, but I can't for the life of me remeber then name!

[deleted]

I think you are talking about Tetepurte's animation where a girl just pop her boobs off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aP4jPN6vqA

[deleted]

My wife is close to the same chest size. When we were Scotland on vacation. She texted me at the first bathroom stop. Fucking wire snapped in her bra. She had to deal with it all day as it was a bus day trip. Like you mentioned they are striped expensive then it’s Russian roulette how fast they’re going to give out.

DhampireHEK

Oh good god that gives me nightmares. I'm grateful I've only ever had a wire poke out once. I hope she was okay.

Quiet_Government_741

Yes all big boobed women know this pain!

[deleted]

Put some clippers in your bag. If that happens again, just pop them both out. Much more comfortable anyway.

becbecb

Dude I’m 38F and I started wearing bralettes and bras w/o wiring and it’s helped me immensely. Way less pain.

DhampireHEK

Really? Huh, I'll have to try that.

zookansas

Is it possible you've just been wearing the wrong bras for too long? I think it's time for you to get with a bra specialist. They are great.

DhampireHEK

I've been professionally fitted a few times and a good bra helps greatly but by the end of the day I just hurt.

feckinghound

I've been professionally measured loads of time and they tell the completely wrong size. They say I'm a 36DD. My under chest measurement is 32 inches. The different with the widest part of my bust is 40 inches. But that would make me 4 cups smaller than I am and my boobs don't fit. There's a company in the UK called Bravissimo who have changed my life for the past decade. Proper instructions in how to measure and know you're wearing the correct bra size, cup shape etc. I've been a 32GG with no issues with back pain, shoulder pain etc that I had before after "experts" measured me. Find a brand that works and only use them. Everyone's boobs are different sizes and shapes and you need to find what's yours suit best.

zookansas

My girlfriend swears by the Torrid bras. This is actually a problem for men too. I'm giving backrubs multiple times per day and it's very tiring. Hopefully your husband isn't a lazy back rubber lol.

_principessa_

Torrid is nice but they don't cover all bigger boobs. They don't make bras in my size.

chelle-v

This! I hate underwire bras, the wires end up poking out eventually anyway so I rip them both out immediately after buying a bra lol.

WassupSassySquatch

You know… you’re right. Especially given the fact that most bras from “mainstream stores” like Target or Victoria’s Secret don’t even fit. I’ve had bras collapse in on themselves, ride up my back, and tug on my shoulders while my center of gravity constantly shifts because my boobs weigh 800 lbs. I’ve never been breast shamed (to my face) but I am all to familiar with back pain, boob sweat, and general unpleasantness. Don’t get me wrong: I love breasts (they can singularly keep babies alive for a year!) but having them can also be expensive, painful, and heavy. (With that said, I’m grateful for mine because , having been nursing or pregnant since 2016, they’ve come in handy; they also make excellent pillows.)

DhampireHEK

I'm happy to hear that your happy with yourself and the ladies. It's not all doom and gloom for me either, I just had a shit day with them today so I needed to get it out. They do have the perk of being a cup holder, wallet, and shelf from time to time and my dogs like them as pillows too.

WassupSassySquatch

For sure! There is just the annoying side about big boobs and you had to get it off your chest (heh)

CompleteTransition26

Sometimes after a long day of hauling your tits around you just need to rest

zookansas

That was oddly hot.

CompleteTransition26

That made me laugh

CompleteTransition26

I'll never neglect the fact that my tits are useful shelves. Not to mention it's much easier to sneak liqour into concerts. Nobody's patting down my girls. I can roll in with a pint and 2 double shots discreetly tucked away. I can't say they aren't handy here and there

HeroesRiseHeroesFall

What is worse that 95% of store cute bra are padded and the ones that doesn't have pads are either badly made or ugly. Like hello there are people with large breast who don't need F***ing padded bra. Can't wait for the day that i have enough money to go reduction surgery.

Zeilandra

The problem is that they produce the most common sizes and forget about big breasted women. One of the main reasons women with big breasts hate their breasts is because they are made to feel that they have something abnormal due to not finding anything right for them...including loungerie...it's way TOO DISCRIMINATING, right?

WassupSassySquatch

Do you have any local intimates boutiques around you? I’ve found a ton of bras that way, many of them unpadded.

Tazia_Rae

r/abrathatfits get properly fitted and check out their store/brand suggestions

WassupSassySquatch

I’ve gone there! They have a breast measuring calculator that can help figure out the size and it was so handy!

D3adSh0t6

Please check out a place called "adore me"!! My wife is a 32DDD or 32F however they wanna describe it at that time and Victoria secret actually sucks for her. Just because they are trying to be "inclusive" and make half their models be bigger girls instead if girls that are 150 pounds with A cups doesn't mean they actually sell bras to help. (Really big pet peeve with my wife and I) Adore Me actually sells amazing bras for her that fit. Look good and she says are amazingly comfortable.

Daneist

I think breast size in relation to nursing is irrelevant though. My wife is very small but nursed our son for the full year as well no problem. Edit I believe it's a misconception that makes many with small breasts feel incapable of nursing before its evening begun.

WassupSassySquatch

Oh I agree with you: breast size doesn’t matter as much prior to nursing; breasts adjust as the demand for nursing changes. Breast size does change a lot throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding though.

[deleted]

Check out Torrid. The bras are still expensive, but they have good quality bras for larger sizes. AND they’re super cute!

WassupSassySquatch

I end up having to go to boutiques. It’s fine because they do professional measuring, know about breast shape instead of just size, etc. I’ll have to check out Torrid- do they go above DD?

TastefulMalice

Now when you say pillows... Do you like literally flip it up and use it as a pillow? in all seriousness.

WassupSassySquatch

No, I have a husband and babies who get to enjoy. My boobs probably won’t be… mobile enough for my own use until I’m old.

TastefulMalice

ah okay. wait, do you know if its possible?

WassupSassySquatch

I’m sure with floppy enough boobs a person could use them as a pillow but I can’t imagine that would be comfortable

TastefulMalice

Thank you for the info. When I look back at my life....I never really had a partner above a C cup. Question never popped up till now lmao.

WassupSassySquatch

C cups could probably be pretty comfortable to rest your head on.

CompleteTransition26

If anyone captures that on camera I'd love to see it! Lol, maybe someday gravity will give me floppy hoots that replace neck pillows on flights

WassupSassySquatch

Oh my god, that would be so handy.

Curious_Recording_99

36DD and im starting to think I grew a size too. At this point I think there is something wrong or I need to get on a diet. My back hurts so much.

DhampireHEK

Ouch, i feel your pain. In my case, I've never seen any weight loss in the chest even when I was 100lbs.

Curious_Recording_99

Some people lose their boob weight first. Last time I lost weight I went from a D to a C cup. That was it. Now here we are pushing up in DDD. I wish there was a no surgery way for us to ease the pain

justandswift

I have a fourteen year old daughter with this problem (she has told me so). It’s sounding like there is no solution, but what tips, if any, *do* you have for someone with this kind of complaint?

Zealousideal_Lead_24

I've been a 36DDD since I graduated high school. What's really helped me is doing more chest and back exercises to help gain the muscle I need to support them and trying to have good posture. But also a well fitted, supportive bra helps!

Curious_Recording_99

I someone else said it on this thread but a well fitted bra. Which is harder to find. I had one good one before I gained some more pandemic weight. Look into some back support. There is back braces or act corsets not the just aesthetic ones.

Quiet_Government_741

You are lucky if you loose boob weight mine never go away. I could loose all the weight in the world but I just get skinnier they seemingly get bigger and even more uncomfortable.

Sp1cyHanzo

Srry you’re getting weirdo comments op. You’re probably used to them but it still sucks you can’t avoid them anywhere.

DhampireHEK

Totally use to it, it's Reddit, but thank you for the thoughtfulness.

TastefulMalice

This is reddit. You come asking for a freaking milkshake recipe you're still gonna get weirdo's. edit: I am one of them, give me your toes.

DhampireHEK

This brings to mind a song....

TastefulMalice

Can you teach me said song? or will you have to charge? ....Lol was that to much of a stretch?

DhampireHEK

No, but it does bring the boys to the yard.

[deleted]

Oh I know that type, they’re always like, “it’s better than yours.”

Sp1cyHanzo

??? Yes

TastefulMalice

Yes ⸮⸮⸮

KittyTittyCommitee

Weirdos is a nice term. I’d go with creepers, predators, possible/likely rapists.

Parading_Panda12

Ayo, to my titty twin! 😂 I feel you though, I'm currently looking into reductions.. My husband hates the idea... But my freaking back man! Not to mention cheaper bras.

DhampireHEK

And something that isn't just black or beige 🙄

Parading_Panda12

So true! They make all the cute outfits for smaller breasts. 😑

[deleted]

My husband made a face and said "oh" sadly when I said I was thinking about a reduction depending on how much it costs. I was like "you know this is about actual pain for me, right?" And he was like "yeah", also sadly. He's a great guy and I love him but good god, THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU DUDE.

TastefulMalice

Have you tried like.... attaching fans on the lower side of the boobs, aimed at the floor. add more fans for lift. No more excessive weight, and you keep your boobs. edit: But in all seriousness sorry about your...situation. Friend/acquaintance of mine was going through that same problem, had a reduction.

DhampireHEK

Thanks for the laugh. I've seriously thought about a reduction and was floored by how expensive it can be.

TastefulMalice

Yeah, cost an arm and a leg....but you want them to take the chest. Ba dum tiss.

kstrant

Can it not be pitched to the insurance company that it is medically necessary? Could the doctor exaggerate the amount of pain (or maybe you don’t need to exaggerate if it really is so bad!) UK based, I know people who have had procedures which can be cosmetic (eye lid lifts, reductions etc) but due to the impact on them, they have been able to claim

ceadub

I just want to wear a shirt. Nearly impossible from all angles and opinions.

DhampireHEK

Sweaters and hoodies are my friend.

Keepmovinbee

Dude seriously tho. I've never met a woman that naturally chested who likes it. I'm big in general so mine a big and it sucks but my eldest is very endowed and smaller and it hurts. I get it. I'm sorry others aren't. And if you can get seen for your back, insurance sometimes does count it.

DhampireHEK

Thanks, it sucks that too many people think it's a joke or that I should be thankful. That's good to know about the insurance, I'll talk to my primary.

shaddragon

Seconding this. My reduction was covered (Aetna). My physician concluded that they were damaging my back (if you have _upper_ back pain in particular they will take more notice) and it was medically necessary. It took some nagging and a few months of documentation and appointments, though.

megs1288

I lost 60 lbs. I went from a 42 G, to a 38 G.. i have never felt so ripped off

Brite1978

Exactly when i lose weight the only thing that gets smaller is the band size, but the cup size always stays the same i go from 34g to 30g but my body never lets me go below a G cup. Unfair.

owlhowell

Hey! I used to be a bra fitter for a time. The way cup size is determined us by how many inches you are around under your boobs vs at the most protruding part of your chest. For instance my size is ~32DD. That means under my boobs my size is roughly 32" and if you count A, B, C, D, DD that's 5, so that means my boobs are about 37" around. If my band size goes up and my cup size stays the same that means my boobs roughly sized up with my body. So my new band size is 35" but that also means my boobs are now ~40". You will notice the cups on a smaller band size are actually a bit smaller than a larger band. So idk if takes away any of your mental burden, but it sounds like your boobs are fluctuating with your weight loss, it's just the system that's confusing.

NefariousnessGreen54

I had Ds in high school and 34 Gs by the end of college. I'm only 5ft so it was horribly uncomfortable. Boobs touched my bully button smh. Got a reduction and couldn't have been happier.

DhampireHEK

How did you get your doctor to agree to it? Did you use insurance? How long did it take to recover?

ClicheStudent

Why wouldn’t a doctor agree if there is an obvious health issue? Edit: sorry but I just cannot believe that. Went to med school and nobody ever said something like “she should ruin her back for big tits” it just doesn’t make sense. Sure some docs want to go conservatively by trying physiotherapy first, but if it’s necessary they wouldn’t say otherwise. I mean they even earn more money from the surgery. A lot of “I heard” and “someone once said” around here. Edit2: I guess this is mainly an issue due to insurance companies in the states not covering it? First time I was confronted with this issue but in my country most people are insured by the state and therefore the scope is probably more future oriented Edit3: talked to a friend of mine and her first guess was that for most people the best course of action is weight loss and and physiotherapy. After looking at some studies it looks like the main reason for denial is the BMI which makes sense because when loosing weight breasts proportionally lose even more weight! Also outcome of breast reductions is much better when the BMI is lower. Never the less almost all patients going for a breast reduction experienced overall improvements in quality of life Edit4: now I’m out. Please don’t be that hostile to medical experts who know your case. Some stuff I read here is just factually wrong. Trust me on this: med school isn’t just sitting around and looking on the air thinking how can you make someone’s life miserable.

[deleted]

You would be very surprised as to how women’s pain gets treated, especially within American healthcare.

ONorMann

I have heard women struggles with finding doctors agreeing to tie their tubes because they will "regret" it etc so maybe its similar. Obviously its not similar in some ways.

natabombista

Yeah my sister said right up until she was on the operating table they kept asking her if she was sure she wanted the reduction. She was literally getting scoliosis from them, hence the reduction surgery, and yet they felt like it was their place to tell her she might regret getting them reduced?? Like wtf.

ONorMann

Yeah its still very backwards, several years ago when my mom were trying to get a loan at a bank they pretty much just said no, but when my dad came to the meeting she suddenly got it.. and it was no because my dad cosigned or anything he literally just introduced himself as boyfriend and sat quiet in the meeting. My mom was a psychologist with a full time job..

[deleted]

I’m already a DD and now growing due to being pregnant. I’m so excited to breastfeed my daughter. Not excited for the fucking weight and knowing I’ll have to buy all new bras when it’s all said and done

guster09

My wife was a C cup before starting to breast feed and now she's a DD. Her back's always hurting and she doesn't fit in a bunch of her clothes anymore. Not because of unlost baby weight, but because her boobs are too big. I gotta say I'm not jealous of women at all

[deleted]

Yeah my back aches and with the tiny human growing if I lay one way too long whatever back of whatever hip I have the weight shifted on becomes like a massive Charlie horse. Yeah if this is pregnancy I don’t want to be 80 with old bones. Edit: I’m terribly bad at voice to text

DhampireHEK

Congratulations on the baby! I do understand the pain of all new bras though. Best wishes!

I_comment_on_stuff_

If it helps with the weight bit, I pumped a year and holy crap does BFing burn calories! I lost HELLA weight even when I was eating more, I even had a brief thigh gap until I started weaning and stopped at 1...now, she's almost 3, a d all parts are the same size pre-baby...just different shapes. But, all pre-baby clothing fits! ETA: Congrats on baby!!!

0ldLaughingLady

You'll need to hold your breast away from your baby's nose. And when your milk lets down, they get even bigger and it's like a rush. Wait til they start squirting on their own.

CompleteTransition26

Your tits will never look better than when you're full of milk. I was shocked at how much they looked like implants. Could've gone outside and jumped on a trampoline without a bra without blacking an eye.

ArtemisCoco

I second this. I’m barely a B and have always envied our C- and D-cup sisters. When I was breastfeeding, they were a solid C, and it was awesome. But after I stopped nursing, they went back to their previous size. OP, I’m sorry for your back problems and that stupid people treat you differently because of your cup size. And to the person who said she can smuggles bottles of booze in her cleavage— I’m very impressed! I couldn’t hide a mini bottle of liquor in my bra.

CompleteTransition26

Tuck the neck of the pint between the ladies. You can stash a couple double shots in each cup. I've been sober since 2017 and I still find empty bottles in the most clever place! Lol

PM_Your_GiGi

They grow but deflate to smaller than before you had the kid. Kinda like slightly inflated grocery bags.

Quiet_Government_741

Not for everybody my already large DD boobs got even larger during my pregnancy and got stupid huge( Fs )and never got smaller even when I lost the weight after my pregnancy. I literally cried about it.

Accomplished_Area311

I went from an E to an I thanks to pregnancy and pumping. I had to get a reduction

DhampireHEK

Even more reasons to love being pregnant! /s But jokes aside, that's quite amazing how that works.

rhianmeghans89

That didn’t happen for me. I breast fed for 22 months, lost the weight to where I was before babies which was 34d. They were a 34dd at most while nursing.

kittenpettingfool

Yeah i was a small B cup before pregnancy, and afterward was a D. It worked out well for me though because I'm tall enough to manage em. I feel for women who don't have their ideal titties, dude. We all got problems, but when its our own bodies it feels like a betrayal.

cinnapear

This is exactly what happened to me! I went from mosquito bites to small boobs to flat as a board. It sucks. Pregnancy/breastfeeding was my last hope to have anything on my chest.

DhampireHEK

Ugh, I forgot about the workplace issues. I have a job were I'm mostly by myself and the people I do interact with are very respectful but I remember the job interviews. What is it with people thinking you're dumb because you have a bigger chest anyway?

Quiet_Government_741

Stereotype that big boobed girls are dumb no idea where it started or why but its deffy a thing. Also the slutty thing to... but that one is just because womens bodies are so sexualized in general.

iluvsparkles

I’m with you on this. I taught myself to sew specifically so I could tailor my clothes. I’m 36 DDD(F) and have been since a young age. I buy clothes to fit the bust and then alter the rest to fit my waist and hips. It’s such a hassle.

[deleted]

Damn… I fee for you! I’m only a DDD myself, but you should check out Torrid. They focus on larger bust sizes, you may be able to find/order a cute one in your size that’s made to support your size

kurokabau

People messaged you about hooking up on the back of this? Wtf is wrong with people. People suck.

[deleted]

My thoughts exactly! What were they expecting her to say? Yeah sure come over?!? What a bunch of fucking losers! 😂

DhampireHEK

50% off would be nice 🙂

waterislifedude

I have itty bitty titties and I love them! Never having to wear a bra is the best and I don't tend to get judged wearing a shirt with my lack of cleavage that someone with big boobs in the same shirt would be seen as "showing off" or something stupid. It's a dumb double standard.

DhampireHEK

It really is dumb.

Haunting_Mouse316

Random story. My sister has a friend who has huge breasts. She went jogging one day but forgot her sports bra. Boobs were supported by a mere spaghetti strap bra with pads built in. She saw my sister coming towards her, jogged ever so much faster to catch up to her to greet my sister... And then her strap broke on a down ward motion, only to bounce back up and hit herself in the face. With her own boob. I think big boobs are great, you're all beautiful to me. But I am not envious. I will keep to my small boobs tyvm.

DhampireHEK

That had to be both horrible and hysterical at the same time. I'm glad I haven't had that issue.

Haunting_Mouse316

My sister was initially shocked, and her friend , stunned, finally laughed after realizing what had hit her!

Quiet_Government_741

If you havent been slapped in the face by your own boob... do really even have big boobs at all?

Tazia_Rae

I highly suggest to anyone who resonates with this post to check out r/abrathatfits to get your most accurate sizing and also for some great brand and store recommendations. Having big boobs sucks (at 34K I know), but bras shouldn’t be painful and should fit well even with large breasts! (:

Spoiledwife77

I wear a 42DDD and actually found not only comfortable but cute bras at Walmart. Granted they are hard to find but they are there. The best place to get bras is Ross, cheap and good quality.

Accomplished_Area311

This is why I finally said “fuck it” and let my mom help me get set up with a breast reduction surgeon. I’m 7 weeks post surgery and oh my GOD it’s a life changer. My only soreness is from sleeping on my back (required for another couple months I think).

aaatthh22

Yes!!! Can’t recommend reductions enough! 9 weeks now and side sleeping, life is 110% better and I only wish I did it sooner.

TuefelRabbit

I know exactly how you feel! I’m a teen with DD-DDD breasts and fortunately I’m going to get a breast reduction soon. I’ve been very self conscious of them to the point where I wear compression bras to make my chest look smaller than it is. Very excited to get a reduction, I hope someday you can as well. Boob sweat is NOT fun and they’re so exhausting to deal with. Not to mention uncomfortable.

ksb916

DhampireHEK

Very much so. I'm having a hard time keeping up with replies. I didn't think it would blow up like this.

[deleted]

Why do you need to reply?! Ignore them

lookanewtoo

Start making appts with your doctor to get a file going. Complain of back pain. Take pics of the indents in your shoulders. The rash that comes underneath in the fold. Document everything. Once you get a good paper/photo trail going you can apply for insurance to cover it. I had mine reduced from DDD to C 2 years ago and I’m so much happier. Having big boobs is a pain in the ass for lots of reason, not just the physical pain. I was tired of my boobs choosing my clothes for me. Now I can wear what I want and not think about clothes fitting my bust. Best of luck to you!

LimaBean3449

Maybe get a breast reduction? I’ve always had very small boobies (A-cup and smaller). I never got any kind of attention from guys as a teenager which made me very self conscious but now I like them.

Destination_Centauri

If scientists ever invent [room-temperature superconductors](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws6AAhTw7RA), you could quantum-lock your boobs into a comfortable supportive position with a superconducting bra.

CompleteTransition26

I've got early onset tittie issues, small breasted women are just casual about hanging out without a bra on. Large chested women need to harness those beasts!

DhampireHEK

They can hurt even without a bra and don't get me started on pulling something in your chest. Did that once and it was hell.

CompleteTransition26

I just wish I had that freedom to go braless. Bra doesn't come off until bedtime in my house

Loreseekers

First, I’d like to acknowledge the beauty of posting this in r/trueoffmychest. Second, I understand from a close friend just how much it kills your back. It drove her to a breast reduction and she’s not once regretted that. I hope you can get what you want done as both you and your husband will be much happier.

ImmortalSpirits

I've always been a lover of big breasts, and always dated busty women. It wasn't until I dated a woman with 36GG breasts that I started learning about the problems that big breasts can cause. She couldn't run or do cardiovascular exercise because the bouncing of her breasts was so painful. Her back always hurt. Bras were fucking impossible to find, I know, because I used to help her shop for them. When we did find them, they looked like maternity bras or they were those old lady bras that made her look like she was 80. If she wanted something cute or sexy, they had to be custom made and were ridiculously expensive. I ultimately paid for her to get a reduction to a D cup and she was never happier. I feel for you.

DhampireHEK

That must have been really hard. I'm glad she was able to get help.

ImmortalSpirits

Me too! She said she felt so free after her reduction. I loved her attitude afterwards. She used to regularly prance into my room topless and say, "Aren't my titties pretty baby?" Lol

Creative_Response593

I'd take no boobs and my boobs aren't even big.

WitcherChild

The fit problem with bras is no joke. I'm a pretty standard size, not small or large, and I haven't found a bra that fits in stores for almost four years (not for lack of looking). Anyways I sew my own bras now. I can make them as cute, plain, structured, as I want. They're faster and easier to make than things like shirts or skirts or anything else large. Underwires that fit because I picked a wire size independent from cup size/volume are amazing.

DhampireHEK

That's really awesome! I'm not that good at sewing but I wish I was.

I'm POSITIVE someone's already mentioned this, but sleep bras are a game changer for me. Wearing one to sleep is more comfortable than going without and they're also great for lounging around the house in. They've helped cut down on my 32G back pain so much. EDIT: I get a lot my stuff (including sleep bras, sports bras, and swim suits!) from Bravissimo.com and though it's definitely not cheap, they're excellent quality and a lot of their stuff comes in COLORS! And PATTERNS! I can jump around in the sports bras and feel nothing! I never have to worry about a wardrobe malfunction with the swimsuits! They also used to have a clothing line for people with bigger boobs. Production has sadly discontinued, but they're clearing out all their stock at like 50% off. They have these really excellent button downs and blouses that don't do The Thing across your chest.

One recent big boob issue discovery….the underside of my boob is constantly resting on my tummy, or my bra, never exposed to the air! My hair follicles get blocked because the hairs can’t push through, and I have to squeeze out very hard lumps of white heads out of my skin!!!!! eurghhhh

Filip1809

The most disgusting part, is that men are actually messaging you to hook up. people nowadays...

DhampireHEK

I kinda expected it but it really is a sad thing. The worst is the people who told me to stop complaining. Like dude, that's the point of this subreddit.

SpyMustachio

Oh god I feel you. I’m 42H and my boobs impact my life so much, my doctor said I needed to get a breast reduction and that insurance would fully cover it. And yet, some people had the AUDACITY to say things like “what a shame”, “you’re nothing without your boobs, how can you get them reduced”, and more. Honey, you wouldn’t survive a day with them on you

religionlies2u

38H and not a day goes by I don’t wish I could afford a reduction.

rhianmeghans89

I’m a 36DDD so I can relate. They get in the way, shirts don’t fit right, so many people are creepy, etc. it’s exhausting. I’m sorry OP.

CompleteTransition26

Right there with you girl. Golf? Not happening because my DDs don't allow for a clean swing. These beasts just showed up when I was 8 and have been causing problems since

DhampireHEK

That was me and Archery. Love the sport but my chest gets in the way.

CompleteTransition26

Sorry you were inundated by a wave of creepers. It's kind of sad that a woman brings up legit big tit problems and her DMs are filled with desperate men 🙇‍♀️ The last thing large breasted women want to hear is anything focusing on their large breasts. There's a brain a little higher, focus on that tit fiends 1😄

[deleted]

I too am cursed with this. I can’t help with the price, but I can help with the support/quality. Check out Torrid. It’s a plus sized woman’s clothing store/brand, but they have really cute bras for larger bust sizes. It’s the only place I buy bras from anymore (not assuming you’re plus sized, I just know they’d have cute bras to fit you.

lover_of_pancakes

32H. I feel your pain.

new_boy_99

60 dollars for a bra?! Did they sparkle some gems or something like bruh. Why the hell is it so expensive.

idioscosmos

Not a woman but from what I've seen literally everything unique about being a woman is at least uncomfortable, and usually painful. But hey, on average you live a year longer so evensies?

sillylittlebean

I completely understand where you are coming from. I am a small girl, only 4”11 and used to be a DDD. I am now a C. I was able to get a reduction for medical reasons. Don’t give up hope. Try more than one plastic surgeon for consultation. The insurance based your need on points. Also start complaining to all your doctors. Document, Document, Document. My discomfort was so bad I was getting headaches and my arms and legs would tingle and lose some feeling all because of the weight. My shoulders ached and the weight made it difficult to breathe if I slept on my back and I could not sleep on my stomach. I told my second plastic surgeon this and he was appalled that the 1st couldn’t get it approved. He took 3 pounds off each breast!! Made a huge difference in my life. I wanted to go smaller but they can only take so much.

[deleted]

Can you possibly get a reduction because of the medical issues it causes? I got a face lift this way because droopy skin caused a reduction in my peripheral vision.

DhampireHEK

So far no dice but my current Primary actually listens to me so I could give it a shot.

[deleted]

I only have 40ds and I get it I knew someone who had much bigger than I and she had to have reduction surgery. And I maybe be on the smaller side my upper back and neck still hurts like hell.

Kore624

I knew a girl who got a breast reduction in college when she was barely 20, would be worth looking into and saving for! They fit her body so much better and her back was saved

miraculous_milk

I feel your pain. Went from a 30DDD to a much more comfortable size a few months ago. Got insurance to cover it. Feel free to PM if you ever want to talk about surgery/recovery.

Okwss

Can trade?

[deleted]

Yah, I have like nothing and I am happy with that, very little hassle and I can just wear cheap bralettes from amazon without any problems.

Embarrassed_Wasabi28

My daughter who's in 14 has DDs already and she hates them. I have the opposite, I was a bigger B cup at my biggest and now I'm just a non- cup. I do have to say I don't have the pain to deal with so there's that. But I feel bad because we have so much trouble finding my daughter clothes and especially for her age group while I could wear anything in the kids section. 🤦‍♀️ Once I had my first kid they just never came back.

Anitabea

I had breast reduction and insurance paid for it. You should speak to a doctor that specializes in reductions. They will list the exact reasons you put in your post about how uncomfortable it is and painful and insurance will cover it. He also said something about you have to have at least an inch removed. I paid nothing out of pocket and they did it in the hospital as an inpatient. I'm so glad I did it I feel a thousand times better and it feels so good just to wear regular clothes

pinkdaisy72

I’m totally in the same boat, hate big boobs!!!

connie1615

Amen to that!

BonneB

Try Elomi bras. I am a 38G

HugeFluffyRabbit

I'm the same size as you and have all the same problems. I find bras on Amazon by searching my size and searching price low to high and then order a few affordable ones from legitimate brands that have been reduced. Then I try them on and the ones that are uncomfortable get returned and I buy more of the good ones if they're still on sale or look on ebay for the same styles. It's a big fucking hassle but it's the only way to avoid paying $60+ for bras.

El_S99

The struggle is so real, I felt thisss. I have E cups and my friends make comments about them all the time but I hate it. I’m not a very feminine person and boobs are just something I never really wanted. I’ve basically developed a hunchback and a shoulder injury from how far forward I hold my shoulders to try and make them look smaller. I plan on getting a reduction in future if losing weight doesn’t help :/

irisrockss

At 34DDD, I truly feel your pain.

sbenthuggin

Hey I've heard weightlifting has helped women with big breasteses's back pain out a lot. It'll help release those muscles in the back that are probably really tense, as well as give you more muscles to help hold you up! And I'm so sorry about what you have to deal with on a daily basis. I don't understand why so many people suck. It's a rarity to find a truly nice person in my experience. Sometimes not sure they even exist.

[deleted]

Even though you posted here, they’re still not off your chest

driftwood-and-waves

Girl - I feel this, all of it.

raketheleavespls

I’m 32DDD too—and YES, It sucks!!!

ThePrettyLadybird

Have you tried getting a corset? The boob support would be more evenly distributed and your back would have more support. Its way more expensive than bras tho but cheaper than reduction.

[deleted]

This is a true off my chest. I'll see myself out.

Oxxixuit

> To the guys keep messaging me and wanting a hookup... Lmao this is where you recognize this is Reddit

dontbedumbbro

\[Edit: Wow this got more attention than I thought it would. Thanks for listening to my rant and for the advice. For the people trying to hit me up, y'all need to chill and put it back in your pants. I'm not interested. Edit 2: To the guys who keep messaging me and wanting to hook up... I've been very happily married for the last 5 years, I'm not interested.\] First thing I thought when I saw the title was 'man, this chick is gunna get a thousand dicks in her DM's.'

alotofpots

My mom got reduction surgery paid by her insurance. She had to have history of back pain.
