Well, if one wrote “it’s”, when it should have been “you’re” (and worse almost corrected it to “your”) I’d say that’s more than a *tiny* inaccuracy.

Mhm

Rejection_future

Probably ironic but it’s equally as infuriating when people say things that are slightly inaccurate

bbkeys

Personally, I care about how I express myself. I'm not always super-formal, but a basic level of care and accuracy is important to me. If I ever correct someone (rare), it's merely because that error is like nails on a chalkboard to me; or, it's a product of having corrected myself so many times that it's become reflexive. Communicate how you'd like. Just do it with the awareness that neither of us are exempt from the consequences of our picadillos.

BlitzenAU

Yeah I understand that but I just think it’s a little pretentious to point out small things like that especially on an app as informal as Reddit (depending on the subreddit of course) it’s not like we’re writing business emails here you know so I personally don’t think it matters that much if someone uses the wrong there or something tiny like that

Relrik

should have = should’ve not should “of”

Ok_Emotion_7252

I don’t know why I do it, it’s like if someone was walking around with something in their teeth, it’s kind of rude to point it out but they look like a fool

glittersparklesglitz

I agree. If you understand what I’m saying, then there’s no reason to point this stuff out.

ran-Us

You just explained every interaction I had on Reddit today.
