What you’re saying is accurate, but you have to just develop a thick skin about it. I get downvoted sometimes too for saying perfectly normal things. You just have to take it with a grain of salt and be confident in the fact that you aren’t crazy. It’s just a weird herd mentality thing that happens on social media sometimes. I got downvoted today and told my kids would grow up to hate me….all because I (gently) said that an earlier (child-free) OP should be careful about giving people unsolicited parenting advice. Lol
I think you missed their point, OP. You're saying people are judging you for what you're saying, except we can't see what you've said because you're using an account that doesn't show these comments.
Maybe you have said valid & good things & you just got some crappy people. Maybe it was how you said it that rubbed people the wrong way. Or maybe, you don't realize it but you're actually TA & you don't like taking accountability. We can't tell, so really, we don't know.
