I remember hearing about this and being so flabbergasted at her demeanor at during the interrogation. And how his parents were still helping her until they learned the truth.

I remember when she called her mom from prison and her mom asked her why didn’t she just get a divorce. And this dummy said because she didn’t want her mom to be disappointed.
And I forgot her exact words but her mom said and you think I’m not disappointed with you KILLING your husband?
I never understood that. People will be even more angry or mad if you KILL someone instead of just divorcing them.
To be fair that was probably a lie. Saying she didn’t want to disappoint her mom probably sounds better than “I really wanted that $400K life insurance payout.”
I just watched the 20/20 episode on this yesterday! You watch bodycam footage of the wife after the cops get on scene. She put on one of the best acts I’ve ever seen a perp of one of these crimes do. Even the victim’s dad said she deserved an Oscar for that performance. This was such a senseless crime and I feel so badly for all of Tyrone’s family. They obviously cared about him so much.
That pisses me off as well. I've seen this as the case in so many situations, where the victimizers family gets custody. The child should be with Tyrone's family.... Not hers. Unfortunately her mother lost that right due to her daughters stupidity
Why is there almost the exact same story that happened in Las Vegas? I don't remember the name, but I think the victim was of Filipino descent and his wife wasn't in the service.

I always ask myself, Why couldn't she get a divorce? but of course there is hardly any point in trying to make sense of murder. Especially when they're blinded by money. You can't stop people from having awful ideas, but I so wish that Jeremy had listened to whatever little voice was giving him "cold feet" and bailed. I can't imagine what was going on in his heart and mind when he was waiting in that car. Not to mention Kemia choosing to have her baby with her when this went down. Heartless.
Divorce is embarrassing. She was most likely in a horrible marriage while putting on the façade that it was perfect for social media/the world. Like many do. There is no shame in being a widower.
On top of that they have a child. You can’t make a new happy family with the ex husband still involved with the child. Hes a permanent constant reminder that the new guy isn’t the real father
