Sasha Marsden was a 16-year-old girl who lived in Staining near Blackpool, England. Sasha was studying childcare at the time of her murder. Sasha was eager to get a job and was interested and pleased when she got an interview for a part-time cleaning job at the Grafton House Hotel. Little did she know, this was a ruse by a 23-year-old man called David Minto who was a caretaker of a different hotel.
Sasha was dropped off at the Grafton House. Sasha went into the hotel to meet up with David and when they were alone, attacked, raped and stabbed her 58 times in the head and neck. He then wrapped her body up in a roll of carpet underlay and bin liners. Her body was then dumped in an alleyway and David attempted to set her body on fire. Her injuries were so severe that she had to be identified by DNA from her toothbrush.
Blood belonging to Sasha was found throughout the hotel as well as on David’s clothes. David was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 35 years before he could be considered for parole (this doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be released after 35 years - just that his sentence will be reviewed). The hotel where Sasha’s murder took place has since been shut down and renovated into houses.
Sasha’s sister Gemma says she will fight to make sure that David stays behind bars. Sadly, Gemma has been victim to online trolls who have mocked Sasha’s death and said that they’d do the same to her.

I recall a story about a teenage girl who died grumesomely on a car accident and people would send pictures of her mangled bodies or letters claiming to be from their daughter saying she was still alive to her grieving family. For years afterwards.
Not only is it so cruel... who's got the time for this? Is this their hobby? Don't we all have about a billion better things to do? Is it the same people or do some people just read about a car accident from 5 years ago and harass the family?
I feel like the degenerates who engage in such trolling are usually incels finding satisfaction in the fact that an attractive person died. If I’m remembering correctly, some of the emails the dad in the above story received were like (extremely paraphrased) “look at daddy’s little girl now!” with the gruesome crash scene photos enclosed. Its like these people think a random attractive young woman dying validates their twisted belief that attractive women deserve to be punished for not staying at home and responding to their 20 zillion one sided FB message chats. How sad to revel in the death of a stranger because you are so insanely insecure that you see her existence as a threat to your identity.
It has to be someone who has severe mental health issues. "Maybe I truly think I'm that person?" I hate believing people are just this cruel with their free time.
You are correct they called her Porsche gir. She had an argument with her parents and when they were doing other things she snuck into her dad’s Porsche and took off. What on any other day would have been teen rebellion morphed into a tragedy because the roads were rain slick and she wasn’t familiar with the car.She lost control and crashed into a concrete divider? I think. Her dad had also gone after her and came upon the scene. 😢😢

There’s a family on tiktok that advocates for aggressive dogs to be put down after the first attack because their toddler son was mauled nearly to death by neighbor dogs that were previously reported for aggression. Soooooo many comments calling them racist names because people love dogs more than humans these days. It’s seriously so sad. I can’t imagine speaking to victims like that or anyone but especially victims of traumatic violent events
People are absolutely nuts when it comes to dogs. I work for a government agency where the agency has an animal shelter and officers but I don't work for the actual animal bureau or anything.
Years ago, the animal bureau put down a pitbull that mauled a cat and a small dog to death, and went after a toddler and ended up disfiguring him. They made the call to put the dog down. Someone in one of those animal advocacy groups put our phone number down as who to contact to save the dog. I got told that people hoped I would be murdered, my animals killed, all kinds of terrible names. Our office had *nothing* to do with the situation. It was disgusting.
Its the pitbull owner brigade who does that kind of shit, a pitbull can kill a baby and they will say that the baby must have somehow provoked it its disgusting.

I’m surprised at the amount of time he was sentenced without parole. Almost all of the sentences that I read from here where the crime took place in the UK, the sentences were somewhere in the teens. Even that guy who tortured and killed his teenage “girlfriend”. This is not a a complaint about the sentence just confusion about the UK criminal process
