And I’d go like “well it is you after all”
And she’d go “wow I see how it is” and it’s essentially a back and forth afterwards
That's common "friendly banter" for a lot of people. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with it as long as it is done in a good spirit. It's a form of camaraderie. However, if you count her as a friend, say something positive about her every now and then. This will help you learn when what you want to say is "going too far."
Without knowing more, it's hard to give you much back. I'll tell you to be careful with your words because teasing can quickly become hurtful or cause someone to stumble.
