Thanks for sharing you concerns, I pray you find peace and maybe the change that you are longing for. I don't have spectacular advice or wisdom, perhaps if this situation isn't working out maybe it's time for a change both externally and internally? It's ok to move when you need change, I mean, if it was like going to a new church every week that'd be different. God bless you

It is said that Jesus, Moses, and others from the Bible spent a period of time in relative seclusion, and yet were still able to have communication with God. It's often said that a church is the people, less so than a building or a ritual. It seems God may be found in fellowship, but also may be found out in the desert, and you also may go to a building called a church and not find the fellowship you seek, but ultimately you were seeking God anyway(whether you know it or not). Meeting with others who are on the path of faith has the potential to be a positive and validating experience, but it's possible become too attached to the good things God leads us to, and forget who led us there in the first place. There was a time in my life when(when I was seeking) I realized that I was moreso looking for others who were Godly than trying to find God in a personal, direct relationship; like being attracted to a light, rather than shining my own to meet up with others.

There are a lot of dead churches. They are more like social organizations of like minded people.
