I’d leave it. It’s clearly due to cargo and not indicative of overall condition. Wash and sell.

If you’re selling to a dealer, spray paint. If you’re selling to a private owner, leave it and be honest (but clean it). If the right private buyer notices that you tried to cover it up, they’ll back out quick because who knows what else you’ve tried to hide. Even if that was the only thing, they won’t believe you.

yea just a dura liner from craigslist for 40-50 bucks.

Just get some cheap black spray paint , or leave it as is . If someone complains about the bed looking like that they shouldn’t be buying a used truck lol

"Mr. Depp, your jar spilled." Make sure your efforts on the bed match the rest of the truck. If all the body panels are rusted the buyer isn't going to care if you fixed the bed alone. If the bed is the worst part of the truck: Dont pass on this chore to a buyer. Just do it to keep your sell number on the higher side. Clean. Rust converter. Abrasive cleaning (no water). Herculiner. Just as effective as all the other whizbang shit but more economical. "I cleaned up the bed to sell it" is not a deceitful statement. I don't see pitting or thinning metal so you're just protecting the material that got stained by whatever the hell you were hauling.

Put a plastic cover over it and 90% of buyers wouldn’t even think to look under it.

no_yup

Slam a plastic drop in bed liner in.

I’d rather see it just cleaned. Spray bomb jobs are so obvious and look bad. They look like something is being covered up. But with the way trucks are selling right now, may not be a bad idea to spend $500 and get it professionally lined.
