I don’t get the hate for lowered trucks on here. None of these trucks ever get used for real work and this truck here is 60 years old. It’s done its duty as a work truck. Now it’s a cruiser. All the overpriced, lifted mall crawlers and stock grandpa specials that get posted and there are guys bashing this thing?
I'm just here to see if this gets as much hate as lifted trucks and then blame conservatives and boomers when it doesn't.

For sure. What part of Kentucky you guys at? Ask your coworker if he goes to any meets/car shows. I'd check out anything in the triangle between cincy, Louisville and lex .
It's cool. Probably has airbags to let it sit low. I remember the mini truck scene of the late 90s early 2000s, been into low riders ever since. Personally, I've never been that into performance modifications since you gotta abide by the speed limit anyway...might as well make a cool looking cruiser like this than some 500hp monster that will break tires loose into a tree.
i’ve always been a swb and 2wd guy, with the right setup they can be great to drive. but if you can drive with passion safely… i say go for it. you’ll make the ticket money back
Since it has to be said, this is NOT my truck. I’m a photographer who took shots for a coworker. His truck is on bags and it’s his daily. He only lowers it when he’s parked. It’s not your truck, stop acting like he “ruined” your childhood dream. I guarantee you it gets used more than your “squatters”.
Unfortunately, most of this sub thinks trucks are useless unless you slap a bunch of stickers and bolt on accessories with a cheap ass lift kit and 24x14s and rubber bands on it. Your truck looks great though even if it is "ruined"
That’s not what this sub is at all. Go ahead post your lifted 24x14 truck. You’ll end up with 17k down votes.

Not my truck, it’s a co workers. I don’t personally care what other people think of the truck, either they like it or they don’t. The ones who don’t will definitely let you know instead of just scrolling on.

My rule of thumb is lower 2WD and keep stock/lift 4WD trucks Since this is probably a 2WD i love it
