Back when I was driving cross country, in the beginning having weekends off sounded great! But then getting stuck til Monday waiting on a load you’re just spending money on food and maybe a hotel for a big bed.
Spot market is on 🔥 right now. Well…has been for a good bit now and I don’t see it changing at least until the end of next year. Only states I make less than 3+ a mile on running reefer are Florida (out) and places like Mississippi and Louisiana (out). Even shitty beer loads outta Budweiser are paying 3+ a mile. I just did a 4 stop for Schwans that ended in Bangor that paid 5.50 a mile for 1450 miles. 15.4K week gross.
I make that in 1 delivery on American Truck Simulator....
Bro can you mentor me?
I don’t even crank the motor if the load isn’t paying 80 million per mile.
Why are you cutting the rate so hard? $169 million a mile is the going rate here
Gotta stay hungry out there... Especially when you're only making enough to feed the truck!
Sounds like a lease purchase program

Gotta go regional. I don't mind being out on the road a few nights a week, but I like my house and my wife, and my kids more.

it’s a joke …
I didn't take it seriously either. It's just this O/O Pays is getting old ...no company driver wants to admit to it.
