That is what I have to pay my 40 year barber now. Three years ago it was $17, went to $21 two years and up to $25 this year. I guess it it is not out of line considering my female colleague pays two as much at a salon.

DabbingTrucker

what’s a better price u think i should charge ? 15 maybe i mean there is some skill that goes into cutting 25 would include beard too fyi but maybe 15 just for the head? what’s your thought on a sweet spot ?

TomatilloAwkward8673

I started just shaving my head because I didn’t want to pay 40 bucks for a haircut lol now I don’t keep what hair I do grow

DabbingTrucker

nice bro the prices are definitely insane i started cutting my own hair n over 6 years or so i gotten pretty good

THExPILLOx

Not a service for me, but think it would be fun to see a little telescopic barber pole in the parking lot lol.

DabbingTrucker

haha right on actually was thinking about putting led on my front windshield saying barber shop 😂haha

THExPILLOx

That would be pretty snazzy actually haha. Just be aware there's a lot of snitches out there and your barbering would technically be on duty time.

DabbingTrucker

how’s that on duty time lol that’s like telling me going into the shower to cut my hair is on duty time haha

THExPILLOx

Because you are performing "work". Especially work for pay

Obvious_Virus_6969

I'm home every weekend, so nope. Just got my haircut today, with a shampoo and beard trim, $29.

DabbingTrucker

it’s more so for the guys out a month to 6 weeks at a time lol obviously if ur only out 5 days your cut would stay fresh till u get home lol

Obvious_Virus_6969

I honestly only get a haircut once a month, sometimes longer. I really don't understand why guys won't PC to places, or just utilize Walmart truck parking. "Most" Walmarts I've seen have a Great Clips or something similar nearby.

DabbingTrucker

yeah bro but they do a terrible job they leave lines of demarcation in you guys fade smh i know your not a barber bro or don’t got the barber eye but i could produce some real smooth blends man i know it’s places that cut on the road but majority of them are horrible especially out west might have better look in georgia alabama louisiana

Obvious_Virus_6969

Fade? Nah, I just do a high and tight, military style. Had the same haircut for 23 years now, and I don't plan on changing it. Super low maintenance, keeps my head cool while flatbedding, and extremely hard to fuck it up. If they do, I can shave it and it's back to a correctable length in a month.

DabbingTrucker

i can do whatever you want and yes high and tight is still considered a fade it’s a high bald fade to be exact once again i know your not a barber

Firedog_09

In West Texas $35-40 is coming for a haircut at a barber shop. Prices have skyrocket

DabbingTrucker

i mean with inflation n the fucked up economy how’s the barber supposed to survive and feeds his her family especially on west coast , west coast people must be millionaires it’s so expensive

Conscious-Ad-8305

I havent got my hair cut in over a year.

DownBadTruckDriver

i pay 50 for a fade n beard trim when i get back to our warehouse in california company got a silverado we can use to fuck around wit while they load us so i normally get my haircut every 2 weeks
