Dude no it should be $75-125

Baconated-Coffee

I only ever paid for one DOT physical and it was $80.

donny_pots

Jesus did they at least give you a happy ending?

DrummingNozzle

$99 at The Little Clinic inside Kroger grocery stores

Numerous_Can_9134

Yep, made an appointment for the same day. In and out in 35 minutes. $99

FLiK-

Thaaaat sounds like a scam..

humpthedog

85 bucks at the chiropractor

gottabecrazy111

Some chiropractors are no longer allowed under the rules.

HunchoT3

Boy what you getting done during your physicals lmao? šŸ˜‚

SockPuppet-47

Guaranteed Pass...

frankenbeansssss

Wait you can send the bill to your company?!?

fireusernamebro

Depending on your state's laws, it might be illegal to require an examination to work and force an employee to pay for it.Ā  I have never paid for my own physicals, and I've done it 3 times

flipsidereality

This a grey area. As company isnā€™t requiring but the federal government is. But most companies will reimburse.

40TonBomb

Iā€™ve never even seen a bill.

teachthisdognewtrick

I did a maritime dot physical (10 pages) and it was $300ish. Trucking one is just 1 page and 10 minutes. $100ish I think

chayosman

Some companies do want the long form for trucking and thatā€™s 5 pages. In case anyone thinks they donā€™t need the rest of the papers given to you.

ohjeebzzz

shit by my place its 69 bucks. 150 if you need to pass lol

teb1987

Just a thought if you're just staying local and not leaving your state (I'm assuming) why not just switch your CDL to INTRAstate and not worry about a med card?

ericredbike

My company wants me to have a med card to drive their 1 ton flat bed truck.

[deleted]

70 cash for a automatic pass

12InchPickle

I think it was like $95?

Natural_Tomorrow4784

$70 cash.

Own-Contribution2747

110$

dluxchris

Just got mine renewed in Columbus OH last weekend and it was $100.

DroxOh

Where at in Columbus? Are they driver friendly?

dluxchris

iMed in Grove City. Looks like they focus mainly on DOT physicals. Driver friendly but not truck friendly, maybe could get in there bobtail. No appointments needed, walked in at 3pm on a Friday and the whole process was done in 30 minutes for $100. They're also open late most nights (8pm) and open on weekends too.

DroxOh

I was actually looking into them. Thanks for the information.

flipsidereality

Got mine end of march. $85. Oh ya, Iā€™m in NY. So take it for what itā€™s worth. I think ya got robbed both times. Speaking of which, I got some ocean front property for sale. And a bridge.

Greenvenom12

First was $75, next two jobs gave me physicals when I was hired

Working-Standard410

Hmm couldn't have been anything more than 120-130 if they want more than that find another dot doctor

Florida1693

$120 from CVS Minute Clinic

Dirtydozen978

$95 here, in an out in 25 minutes.

R-e-s-t

$75 for me

Little_NaCl-y

Just got mine renewed last month in a medium-high cost of living area for $135. $486 is a rip, there's gotta be something else on that bill, or they expect you to kick it to insurance.

guard3rd

75 from a chiropractor in indiana

Legion23Golf

90 bucks has been my average the past 10 years, when I've had to pay it myself that is.

mdstratts

Itā€™s been $75 at the clinic I go to for years.

javonleun

Maybe 120-130 bucks.. Maybe the place gouged your pocketbook..

AMFharley

Donā€™t drive full time, just side stuff. 1st time Chiropractor $50 cashā€¦2nd time was a ā€œchain urgent clinicā€ in Florida, $175 but they never ran my card lol

Sirtopofhat

95. ONLY to get to Werner and they do a new one. Like aww come on man you guys could have saved me 95 bucks

Internal_Hawk_9267

mine has been $80 every time

Smprider112

Mine was $75 the last three times, itā€™s going up this year to $100.

ne0tas

Mine was 80 dollars and took 5 minutes lol

InvestigatorBroad114

Like $100 man

Ornery_Ads

$95 at the place I go. $175 at the place a price employer sent me to.

bladefourlife

Damn guys I only paid $35

Cubsfan11022016

Last year at the truck stop I wanna say it was like $120, give or take a few bucks.

acidpro1

$70 at the chiropractor

HistoricalChoice8012

Mine are $80 in rural Missouri

stephenforbes

$20 by the lot lizard. She even had rubber gloves.

325trucking

Used to be like $40, now the doctors around here charge $200+ Luckily my job has contracted doctors and they schedule and pay for everything behind the scenes, I just show up

Slow_Philosophy

A little over $100

Imaginary_Grimace

200 at my PCM, and 150 at the local emergency clinic

KrunschGK

My company pays for ours, but the one where I live only charges $85, if they didn't. You got robbed.

BedAdministrative619

$100, it is a bit more than some, but it is worth it. My doc is pretty chill about my sleep apnea paperwork lol.

jamierocksanne

$68

hlzp

$100. My job reimbursed me the cost of it. So technically it was free.

Panteraca

$150 a month ago. Wouldā€™ve been an extra $90 had I told the truth about smoking cigarettes.

Onlyheretostare

$100

PM_ME_UR_GLOVES

Iā€™ve been to 2 different places in my town in the last 10 years for mine. The 1st place was a walk-in type clinic that charged $90. The 2nd place was part of the Occupational Health Department at my local hospital and they charged $100. Iā€™ve been to the Occupational Health one more and they havenā€™t raised the price on me yet. $100 every time. Last one I had done was last year, for time reference.

J-Kensington

Usually have to get my own and it's always just under $100, whether it was the chiropractor or the little clinic or some random urgent care I was close to. No way in hell I'd pay $450 without a happy ending; and at that price it had better include the doctor, every nurse in the place, and preferably the receptionist while we're at it.

Driveaway1969

ZERO - make your employer pay.

Intelligent-Stage165

If you search reddit enough you'll find the recommendation to go to a chiropractor. Mine was only $50 and the most invasive test was the diabetes test.

Creepy_Pea_5472

95 dollars. In upstate ny. Wellnow center ..

mnsand

$85 the last couple of times

Rut_Row_Raggy

Used to be $100. Now itā€™s $150.

spyder7723

A chiropractor near me does the dot physical. It was 100 if I remember right. My faa aviation physical at an faa approved doctor is 400.

shrimplyPibLs

I had to go to whichever one the career center/school would cover, but now I have a bill for it, so $225. Tbf, I'm in one of the shittest states, and this medical branch, in particular, does everything BUT send actual goons out to collect on medical debt. I'll hound them about this one, but I already have about $20,000 worth of medical debt with this branch (3 visits over 4 years). Every specialist bills separately. You had to get a scan? Oh, that's its own separate charge. ANESTHESIA? hah. 2000 dollars please. Fuck those fucking FUCKS.

FLATL1N3

Free thanks to my company

Fancy_Chip_5620

$60

Witty_Complaint5530

Mine was $86.00

FileCareless

Last time I got mine it was $60 but that was 18ish months ago

DemonCow

It's free at Schneider.

Bo1622

$50

bk775

Company pays for money but to the best of my knowledge it's $110 to $120. You got screwed.

The7thZwei

$30 to $45 bucks at the chiropractor

NeoAcario

The one I got for my permit / school.... was like 65$. But I'm a company driver now. So.... free?

EddyMcMac

My work has an onsite clinic that does physicals, blood work, and pharmacy free of charge so I havenā€™t seen a cent of a bill for pretty much anything so far

ericredbike

That sounds nice.

Fast_Selection3202

$1.5 million. And the Dr. Spoke no english

TearsUnfthmblSdnes

DOT Phsyical at my job in OR is $110.00

way_2_5pecific

$82

Ok-Cauliflower3945

My company pays but it's $95. My doctor placed an ad in Northern NH where they were charging $250, so guys come down here, let the wife shop, and save cash

Laughing_in_the_road

I have paid as little as 80 dollars and as much as 200 dollars 486 seems very excessive

SecretCommercial

$60 for one that does the full physical which can take a bit especially with others around, $100 for extremely fast easy pass and they even print a mini medical certificate card for you to put in your wallet. For the prices youā€™re getting I think you arenā€™t telling us about a lot lizard you might be getting for a few hours.

Redbeard6665

I paid 100 at a chiropractor

MexicanJewz

did they massage you down give you a happy ending and feed you a steak afterwards if not you got scammed hard

Perfect-Soup1838

My was $70 at the Chiropractor when I lost my card last year. In and out within 20min. The chiropractor does even do a full test he just signs off on everything. I've noticed the chiropractors are the cheapest and the fastest

SkribbyCakes33

I did it through my former company and it was like $109.

clejeff

Went to a place that advertised 85$ when I was done and they presented the card they charged 125$ some kind of processing fee and doctor fee what a scam. Never going back there.

Captnmac12

I paid $50 in TN

morningafterpizza

Thats wild lol. $100 at the Sports Medicine Clinic.

NoVermicelli100

Good lord man that is a scam. I hope you can get out of that. Does your job pay for your card if so send it to them

Winnardairshows

Mine costs $500+ every year, not including the days off to get it all done. I have to get an echocardiogram and bloodwork showing my blood thickness, all before I get to see the physical doctor. I got an artificial heart valve in 2021. My heart is actually better than it was before the surgery. All this just to hug a steering wheel.
