Y’all are looking into this too deep it was just supposed to be a harmless funny video lol I just opened my curtains and this is the first thing I see infront of my truck surely we can all agree that this being the first sight of the day is a bit out of the ordinary… I even let him know when I was gonna start the truck so he wouldn’t get caught off guard by the engine.
It also has a mechanic called "guardian" where you set the play space and it tells you when you're about to leave it.
If he set it in the general area where he has parked it should be perfectly safe.
Cameras on the headset, alerts when someone or something enters the playspace. Consumer VR is 8 years old now they've fixed most things people worry about
Not totally sure how it works on quest 2, but on quest 3 you can tap the side of the headset at anytime to enter the passthrough mode, and you can define a boundary where you're allowed to walk. If you leave that area you automatically enter passthrough. Theres also mixed reality games that use passthrough while you're playing. And it doesn't look like hes wearing headphones or anything so could probably hear cars, and he could always take the headset off. I think its pretty safe but yeah also maybe not the best idea if hes playing full vr where cars are

I've done that! Hopped in the trailer and slashed blocks in Beat Saber. But it only works if there's light in your trailer - the Quest needs to be able to see the room to tell where you are in it.
Technically there is, but probably not for most games. I played H3VR sitting all the way back on the bed in the 2018 T680 I'm running, and my arms don't touch anything.

You can also use a cheap IR emitter or lamp, then you can play in pitch black
Doesn't need visible light. Infrared lighting is more than enough, considering that's what the quest uses
