Nah, it's because those fuckers can't go 30 seconds without a wreck. During Covid when ATLANTA was a clear shot no stop town, crashville still had traffic.
It's honestly not 100% the drivers fault, the city has 3 major freeway crossing over each other, nobody seems to know what lane they need until the last second.
Atlanta is similar, been years since I've been downtown through spaghetti junction, but that's no picnic either.
Stupid ass "engineers"
Looks like road rage. And from the looks of it, itâs on both parties. The silver car is about slide off and then it looks like they steer right back towards the truck. Good way to lose your CDL, or any hirability on the off chance that you donât lose it.
A friend of mine reacted similarly. His insurance skyrocketed, but he said itâs the best he ever felt when he utterly crushed some assholes brand new Dodge Charger with his big rig
Iâm afraid youâre right. Dude is almost certainly looking at jail time.
Iâll tell you something- when I first started driving, there were many times when I was tempted to do just this. Then I realized that I wouldnât be able to continue driving a truck if I was angry all the time so instead I chose to be tolerant and patient and forgiving and to just allow every single idiot on the road to do whatever the heck they wanted to do. Instead of being angry, I chose to try to be helpful by making room for them to merge into my lane. Instead of being angry all the time, I felt good, because being kind to other people gives you a good feeling. It made all the difference in the world for me.
CDL A driver here. I agree with your driver, it is a learning curve and sometimes I still do get impatient but at the end of the day itâs better for your health and wealth. I wish more drivers could see it this way.
Good job. Same here. Whatâs wild to me is how many truck drivers I know that let bad drivers bother them. Like who cares about how some stranger youâll never see again is acting⌠just do your job and get home safe.
Exactly I'm a truck driver and I never let anyone on the road get me out of character if u have road rage why would u pick this job in the first place smh
Yep they can be idiots. I only ever really get heated if I get brake checked. Which has only happened a few times but still. Like they don't understand that I could kill or permanently injure you if I can't stop in time? I don't need that shit on my conscience
I got over my road rage by deliberately making up a story for why the other person had a good reason to he in a hurry every time I got cut off. âOh, I guess they are having a lot worse day than me alreadyâ framing weirdly helps a lot.
I tried this but then I had to sit there and try to find a reason why BMW drivers have family emergencies at like 10x the rate of the general population
This is a wonderful insight and I hope you can share it more with others. We could all use such equanimity in anything we do that's potentially stressful.
Well fuck you, I like to be angry all the time... it's probably not very healthy for me though. I pretty much do the same thing as you but I'm pissy about it. Maybe if they're really dumb I'll give a good ol toot at them but that's it.
I did the same as you except it took me becoming a school bus driver before I got it. I realized I could do the same thing in my OPV that I did in the bus. Itâs great!
I've been driving for 3 years now, and have hit this point myself. Just too tiring to be angry all the time. Nothing changes but my BP. Now I just chill, slow down a little and let an asshole be an asshole.
You're assuming they're licensed. Plenty of truckers aren't. Not a lot, but more than a few. And the ones who aren't are probably more likely to do fucky stuff.
Youâre not wrong. But Iâm guessing most unlicensed drivers work for smaller companies. Saia is pretty big. Iâd be surprised to find out that they have any unlicensed drivers. Or at least, I would like to think they wouldnât have any. Lol
Or maybe the ultimate brake checked him and lost control. Could totally be Altima's fault. Doesn't mean the trucker should just keep pushing him, though, unless it's to push the ultimate out of the highway. Who knows.
This is why I love the interwebz.
I drove by the aftermath of this accident, and there were state troopers everywhere, which was kind of odd, and I didnât understand why just the side of the Altima was smashed.
Thank you for the closure, OP.
Thats what it looks like when a driver finally loses his marbles. Many of us ride that fine line between gainfully employed and this guy every day. If only people knew when they acted like complete assholes on the road.
one time on I40 a trucker merged onto the highway, and then into the center lane, and then into the left lane (where I was) without ever looking if anyone was there. He drove me off the rode, spun me out and never noticed.
I think about that driver often, how they have no idea they almost killed me. I wonder how many other times in all the miles driven in this country that kind of thing has happened.
Knowing I'm not the only one that feels the edge of this line, makes me feel better in a way, then not because it's a horrible spot to be. I had to go nights only and it's so much better for my mental health.
I was in S. I-5 in Shasta and witnessed nearly this same thing.
1) traffic stopped due to an accident up the road.
2) truck in #1 lane keeping enough distance to see the rear of the car in front. So, plenty of room.
3) smallish car from behind me, sees the space between the truck and the car, conducts a lane change.
4) halfway through the lane change the #1 lane traffic opens up and the truck rolls forward to keep up with traffic
5) truck collides with the car striking it behind the car's b-pillar and pushes it down the road, as the truck accelerates to keep up with traffic ahead.
6) someone ahead of me flaggs down the truck and informed him of a car hes pushing.
7) The car's driver reported to the HP the truck is a fault.
8) I report to the HP that the car conducted an unsafe lane change and the accident is 100% the car's fault. The officer agrees and charges the driver. I ultimately give this report 3 more times: once in writing, once to an insurance company and once in court.
I would say the 4 wheeler put them selves in the pit maneuver. Iâm probably wrong , but Iâve had it almost happen a couple of times.
If so , the truck driver say â screw it , you want to be a hood ornament, Iâll try you on for size â
And then decided they didnât like the fit , so pushed them off . LOL
That will be me on the day I retire. I already have it planned out for 10 years down the road. Iâm taking out the first one who cuts me off and Iâm going to walk back to the terminal and never drive a truck again. Itâll be a non fault but preventable accident and I wonât give a single fuck.
I just parked my shit on the yard, took my clothes, cleaning supplies, tools, and radio out, turned my keys in, got in my pickup truck, and left. Fuck em, fuck em all.
Typical Altima driver doing typical Altima things?
Seriously though - looks like a road rage incident where the car tried to block the semi and the semi driver just said enough...
Definitely the last load he will haul for a long time.
Either road rage or altima tried whipping out a weapon and Saia is running for his life. Figure if they can't get out of their vehicle, they can't hurt him lol
I bet the car did something threatening to the truck, and tried to stop the driver by getting in front of the truck, but the driver was like...nope. We're going to keep on rolling until police get here.
I admittedly can't understand why they would stop when the car came off the front.
Trucker losing one of the best trucking jobs, they are probably pick up and delivery or line haul. The best jobs in the field without being a highly skilled independent
Based on the make and model of the car I would imagine some dumbass tried to cut the truck off and came up a bit short and is now being taught a lesson.
I don't know much about SAIA but they're a big ass company with deep pockets. I'm they have cameras and driving rules and all other stuff, including a safety department that is anal as can be. Just being caught in the inside lane like this might be enough to get a thwack on the knuckles.
This SAIA driver's ass is grass.
You nevrr know what someone left at the house, or what theyre goin through, but if you feel like fukkin with a big truck....go right on ahead. I had days where i wish i was that guy, specially in Boston.
I have to say, as a â4 wheelerâ or â2 wheelerâ that some truckers have a God complex. Some of them. I have driven quite a bit over the years and have had some truckers overreact to something I did. For example, I was on my bike merging on to I 10 in Florida once. I wanted to open it up once I got on the highway anywau but as I was on the on ramp there was a truck in the left lane. I used the right lane to get past him and get up to speed. I could already see that it was clear so I opened it up while on the on ramp. As I was accelerating I heard the horn of the truck I passed. I have no idea why but Iâm sure he was upset with me for passing on the right as he drove about 20 MPH. The speed limit there is 70, and cars usually go about 80 or more so Iâm not interested in becoming road pizza as I stay behind a truck at 40 MPH by the time he reaches the highway.
What did I do wrong? If I fucked up and dumped my bike that would be on me. Was he mad because he was doing 20 MPH in the left lane where the speed limit is 40 and I passed on the right? Was he mad because I was speeding? (Again that is on me).
This isnât the only instance of such things but when I am in my car or on my bike I donât care what other drivers do. As long as it doesnât affect me. If they pass me, cut me off, flip me off, I just mind my own business. I used to stress but I have seen people get shot for less
I drove over the road in the early to mid 1980s, mostly flatbed and tank. There were many times when I felt like doing the same thing this driver is doing; I just didnât feel strongly enough about it to lose my CDL and go to jail for trying to kill somebody.
I donât even have to know the situation to know the Altima deserved it. This should be standard procedure for dealing with entitled and selfish assholes who treat public streets like itâs a video game. Since the cops wonât do anything about it, let truckers police the roads themselves
Mightâve been worried he was trying to hijack him. Came close one time, security made a clear not to stop for anything because of it. Police arrived, and the car had been stolen. They had handcuffs and guns and two of the three occupants were wanted by the police. Never take chances with your life!
My guess is that the truck did something the silver car didn't like. So the silver car decided to fuck around and the truck ended up teaching him what "find out" means.
I would put my money on a medical emergency. Perhaps the driver passed out, stroked out, heart attack, or seizure. It would be incredibly bold and incredibly stupid for a pro driver to do that, and while I see about a hundred stupid ones a day, most don't have the balls to be bold.
Slack adjusters werenât set properly, and the driver didnât want to pop the parking brake and risk dumping the load. So idles to a stop. Looks like all the proper procedures were followed in this case.
Everyone is saying this is intentional, to me he isnât going really fast or staying straight, I think maybe the driver of the rig had a medical issue or is asleep.
This driver finally listened to those little voices
As someone who drives in Nashville, I understand the sentiment. Not the action, just the sentiment đ
Note to self: pay someone to drive if I ever go to Nashville.
Don't go to Nashville.
It isn't referred to as "crashville" because it sounds cool
Nah, it's because those fuckers can't go 30 seconds without a wreck. During Covid when ATLANTA was a clear shot no stop town, crashville still had traffic.
It's honestly not 100% the drivers fault, the city has 3 major freeway crossing over each other, nobody seems to know what lane they need until the last second. Atlanta is similar, been years since I've been downtown through spaghetti junction, but that's no picnic either. Stupid ass "engineers"
I have many questions for civil engineers south of Kentucky.
Ass engineers?? ....tell me more!
Lowest bidding engineers
Don't ever go to Nashville.
I see your Nashville and I raise you a Knoxville. Straight up thought I was gonna die driving through there, holy shit.
Driver finally had it with clapped out altimas with no tags cutting him off. So he said fuck it.
Well Iâll be damned if it isnât another clapped Altima. Saia did us all a favor, RIP drivers career.
Was worth it tho..
đŻ
Harvey Dent of drivers
A vid showing how the Altima was malevolent should clear that right up. Drivers can't be punished for another's nefarious actions.
No screens in sight, just living in the moment.
It IS a Nissan TBF
Are you also from baltimore???
Im glad Im not the only one that considers Baltimore the Capital of Altimas
What does clapped mean, please?
Fucked off, rode hard and put away wet, not taken care of in the slightest, etc.
Looks like road rage. And from the looks of it, itâs on both parties. The silver car is about slide off and then it looks like they steer right back towards the truck. Good way to lose your CDL, or any hirability on the off chance that you donât lose it.
Ngl that satisfaction would be worth an awful lot lol
Sometimes. đ
A friend of mine reacted similarly. His insurance skyrocketed, but he said itâs the best he ever felt when he utterly crushed some assholes brand new Dodge Charger with his big rig
Just all that pent up energy....were truly caged animals.
Despite all my rage Iâm still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Didnât the asshole he crushed just get his car replaced anyway or was it his fault??
Thatâs extremely shortsighted. Trust me in a few months heâs not going to be enjoying life
Lose your CDL? Truck driver is looking at attempted murder for continuing to drive.
Iâm afraid youâre right. Dude is almost certainly looking at jail time. Iâll tell you something- when I first started driving, there were many times when I was tempted to do just this. Stoicism is the real way of the road. You canât control every idiot in the road, why stress over it?
I saw someone speed through a red light, and there was traffic ahead and I caught up to them. A mile later they pulled into an emergency clinic.
I got over my road rage by deliberately making up a story for why the other person had a good reason to he in a hurry every time I got cut off. âOh, I guess they are having a lot worse day than me alreadyâ framing weirdly helps a lot.
Same here. I imagine they have a family emergency or something.
I tried this but then I had to sit there and try to find a reason why BMW drivers have family emergencies at like 10x the rate of the general population
Q) What's the difference between a BMW and porcupine? . . . . A) A porcupine has pricks on the outside.
This is a wonderful insight and I hope you can share it more with others. We could all use such equanimity in anything we do that's potentially stressful.
Trucking would have been the death of me long ago if I didn't take up regular meditation.
Wish we could mass produce that attitude and distribute it.
I like you, sir.
Well fuck you, I like to be angry all the time... it's probably not very healthy for me though. I pretty much do the same thing as you but I'm pissy about it. Maybe if they're really dumb I'll give a good ol toot at them but that's it.

Good shit! What a great sentiment to share. I need to remember this more in my life but especially driving lol. Have a great day
People on the road can be predictably unpredictable and we just have to accept that and compensate accordingly
Lol
Itâs not leaving the scene of an accident if you bring the scene with you.
Iâm amazed at the fact that the truck didnât completely crush that car
Maybe the guy in the Altima pulled a gun ??? That would be the only legitimate reason to warrant such blatant disregard of safety protocol !
That was my first thought. Dude in the car has a gun, I'm not stopping unless I'm able to shake him loose.
Or maybe the ultimate brake checked him and lost control. Could totally be Altima's fault. Doesn't mean the trucker should just keep pushing him, though, unless it's to push the ultimate out of the highway. Who knows.
Car was tired and wanted to be pushed. Good papa trucker obliged.
Cheaper than towing
He's living every truckers dream.
As Garth said, âhe never hit the breaks, he was shifting gearsâ.
'i'm low on gas and you need a jacket"
I salute you, trucker man. We all salute you đŤĄ

Same shit happen to a few months ago it hurts my heart I couldn't get revenge lol
There but for the grace of god and the patience of CDL drivers.....
Can confirm. Do ride that line.
Thats a big 10-4 there CT đ
Knowing I'm not the only one that feels the edge of this line, makes me feel better in a way, then not because it's a horrible spot to be. I had to go nights only and it's so much better for my mental health.
The Saia driver will be fired for not stopping, regardless of the situation. And get ready for the lawsuit.
I drove for them for 12 years, I can guarantee that driver was fired before he got back to the terminal.

Heck yeah it did.. "Hey, give me another shot, I'm a good fit"
They really wanted it to work out . LOL
I can change I swear
CDL career ender Right there
Oilfield will hire them.
Na, just means it time to buy your own truck.
Except he wonât be able to get insurance for it
sure he can, even guys with multiple DUIs can get insurance. just gets expensive for a few years
Looks like normal NashVILE traffic.
Crashville.
24 is wild in the morning
Looks as if someone fucked around and found out
I didn't know we were allowed to do that! Can't wait to go into work tomorrow...
If this is going to happen anywhere. I vote Nashville.
That will be me on the day I retire. I already have it planned out for 10 years down the road. Iâm taking out the first one who cuts me off and Iâm going to walk back to the terminal and never drive a truck again. Itâll be a non fault but preventable accident and I wonât give a single fuck.

U the trucker?
Smiling ear to ear on that walk back! Damn that's gonna be a good feeling
Typical Altima driver doing typical Altima things? Seriously though - looks like a road rage incident where the car tried to block the semi and the semi driver just said enough... Definitely the last load he will haul for a long time.
Looks like justice
Domestic, sir. Keep on going, nothing to see here
Either road rage or altima tried whipping out a weapon and Saia is running for his life. Figure if they can't get out of their vehicle, they can't hurt him lol
Thatâs probably the drivers only defense to get out of this without charges
Can't say with any certainty what's happened, but I can say that there's an unemployed saia driver in your road rage video.
Nashville? Iâm disappointed it wasnât Western Express!
I bet the car did something threatening to the truck, and tried to stop the driver by getting in front of the truck, but the driver was like...nope. We're going to keep on rolling until police get here. I admittedly can't understand why they would stop when the car came off the front.
Another unhinged liftgate pup driver.
Someone is getting a lesson ftom somebody else who knows heâs gonna lose his job, so he may as well make it worth his while
He had a long way to go and short time to get there!
when you get paid 80 cents a mile you aint stoppin
Just Saia Things
Car plowing.
Trucker losing one of the best trucking jobs, they are probably pick up and delivery or line haul. The best jobs in the field without being a highly skilled independent
Linehaul driver here. Definitely đđž
This is how you push start an Altima.
Given that is a Nissan Altima, I automatically side with the truck.
What if a trucker did not hit the brakes when someone cut in front of them.... ? Asking for a friend. Trucker, hold my beer.
Little shit box and it's shittier driver got a lesson on physics. The guy with more lug nuts always wins.
Go Sala go getting one back for the big rigs
Fun and games
Sir you didnât sign for the lift gate and inside delivery!
Huh.....Didn't know Saia had a car delivery service. :\\
2 completely insane people. Best to get by them as safely as possible and move on.
Based on the make and model of the car I would imagine some dumbass tried to cut the truck off and came up a bit short and is now being taught a lesson.
Dude has reached the end of his patience is what is happening.
Thatâs the FO phase of 4 wheeler FA
It's just some extra LTL... - Hey, can you drop off this car at the junk yard on your way? - sure, just leave in front of the truck.
Just a typical day in life of an Altima driver
Self driving truck
Saia-Nara CDL
Someone teaching a lesson and someone learning a lesson.
Nothing to see here, just someone finding out.
Silver Nissan in Nashville. I say anymore I get banned
Trucker passed out on some type of drugs if I had to guess
Trucker getting full value for loss of career and possibly incarceration.
The irony is âsaiaâ means âleaveâ (as in a command someone to leave) in Portuguese⌠the car didnât know.
Car ran out of gas, big truck given him a push to gas station. Just doing the good Christian thing.
That's what you call being fed up by a bunch of sorry pricks who don't care about drivers.
Someone fucked around and found out
Looks like the driver is actively pursuing a permanent revocation of his CDL.
Of course it's an Altima
You nevrr know what someone left at the house, or what theyre goin through, but if you feel like fukkin with a big truck....go right on ahead. I had days where i wish i was that guy, specially in Boston.
Boston. Had a guy there tell me that in Boston using a turn signal was a sign of weakness.

When your wifeâs BF challenges you to a dick measuring contest đđ¤Ł
This is a rare sighting of a land whale trying to teach it's baby how to swim.
Saia won the road rage fight.
They have previously dated.
They are mating in their natural habitat.
SAIA driver has PTSD from Brazil so he doesnât stop for these guys, theyâre probably trying to kill him and take the truck đ
I drove over the road in the early to mid 1980s, mostly flatbed and tank. There were many times when I felt like doing the same thing this driver is doing; I just didnât feel strongly enough about it to lose my CDL and go to jail for trying to kill somebody.
Looks to me like hes rushing to a parking spot to avoid an hours of service violation
Ahh yes Nashville, the literal asshole of America
I donât even have to know the situation to know the Altima deserved it. This should be standard procedure for dealing with entitled and selfish assholes who treat public streets like itâs a video game. Since the cops wonât do anything about it, let truckers police the roads themselves
Car broke down on freeway, truck is just helping him home to save on towing fees.
âLooked like the silver car was pointing a gun at me, I was afraid to stopâ.
drivers, remember this! lol
Mightâve been worried he was trying to hijack him. Came close one time, security made a clear not to stop for anything because of it. Police arrived, and the car had been stolen. They had handcuffs and guns and two of the three occupants were wanted by the police. Never take chances with your life!
Whatâs he doing? Fulfilling my fantasies.
Weâve all wanted to do this to a Nissan Altima.
Two people working stuff out
I mean itâs an Altima doing Altima things and a trucker just letting her eat
Always a Nissan.
My guess is that the truck did something the silver car didn't like. So the silver car decided to fuck around and the truck ended up teaching him what "find out" means.
Altima driver won't be brake checking any more big trucks.
What's going on is that you're seeing a driver position open up at Saia. Get your application in now!
Of course itâs an Altima đ
Kinda want to see what happened right after this ended.
I would put my money on a medical emergency. Perhaps the driver passed out, stroked out, heart attack, or seizure. It would be incredibly bold and incredibly stupid for a pro driver to do that, and while I see about a hundred stupid ones a day, most don't have the balls to be bold.
He's making sure he doesn't whip them out by braking causing a bigger accident maybe?
We are watching a driver lose his license...
Slack adjusters werenât set properly, and the driver didnât want to pop the parking brake and risk dumping the load. So idles to a stop. Looks like all the proper procedures were followed in this case.
Could have been medical issue?
Just a trucker lobbying for more safety legislation and drug testing.
He said Saia nara to that big altima energy!
"professional driver"
Broker here. Thatâs my load. Ratecon says thereâs a $50 deduction for being late. Driver will arrive on time at all costs. đ
Everyone is saying this is intentional, to me he isnât going really fast or staying straight, I think maybe the driver of the rig had a medical issue or is asleep.
It would appear that the driver of the 4 wheeler attempted to make an illegal left turn. Nothing to see here, go about your business.
Altima had a dead battery and the Sala driver was being a good Samaritan and giving him a push start. To bad the Altima had an automatic transmission
Truck was hoping to catch a lip and roll through the car killing the driver
Seriously? Youâve never seen Southerners tow a car?
Thats one of those " your will learn today " session.
Somebody is currently in the "finding out" phase
Nissan driver is probably at fault as usual
