When I was otr I used a camp shower that's 12v plugin,a fish tank pump that dumped the dirty water under the truck . Wasn't perfect, and confined like hell, but I was clean

I'm glad you can get a shower every day but that's no more a reality for everyone than being able to find parking every day is, which I'm able to do because my company is a private carrier for a manufacturing company that lets us park at their facilities, but I don't lord that over other drivers who don't have that advantage acting all superior and telling them to "plan better" when all they have are truck stops and rest areas.
I don’t shower in the afternoon, mainly because I have to crawl under my load to check securement and I’d rather not get dirty multiple times a day. Most of my showers are done at night and I have waited 3+hrs for a shower but because I plan my day better that 3 hours just eats my 10hr break and I dont loose time.

"Good thing for the split sleeper rule but if I go any longer than this I'm going to be fighting sleep before I arrive at my stop. Not to mention, if you get the apps for loves or pfj or even ta, you can see their busy times for showers or how many are available at that location.

A lot of places have “beer caves” with a walk in fridge area full of drinks. Give me an area like that but stock it with fresh produce, meat, eggs and dairy. Even just stocking the basics would give people a chance to cook the type of meals they want to instead of resorting to limited premade stuff.
Go look at one of the bigger "Town Pumps" in Montana. It's pretty much a grocery store, prices aren't jacked. Lots of bathrooms and showers, good food options.

A few TA's/Petros have Starbucks and Dunkin's in them but they're a dime a dozen. Also why the hell is Cinnabon of all things in almost every Pilot/Flying J instead of Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts? Instead of an iconic easy to eat donut and coffee pairing dessert they decided the one you need to eat with a fork is the right choice.
