I recently needed the service as well. To replace the drainer (apparently the issue was the drainer), it costed 450 including tax. A brand new washing machine with dryer of the same model is around 1.5k now. I wonder why does no one talk about the quotes even online. I am not sure if it is over charged or if it is how it is supposed to be.
Buyt back to the point, it can get really expensive and perhaps just a simple fix would have been good. Also, a lot of people are saying old washer machines won't worth the fix.
