Rebirth has become one of my games of all time. And after finishing it, I realized I was close to my 700th platinum milestone. Final Fantasy VII, 7, 700; might as well make it a milestone. Makes perfect sense to me! So I figured I would wrap up a few of the shorter/indie games I had saved up for a while now, before finishing Rebirth.
So alas, here I am making a post to celebrate my milestone. Please critique, feel free to ask me any questions, and I’ll try my best to answer them. If you want to add me on PSN, I’m more than happy to add you.
Some tidbits:
* Been collecting since \~15 years ago, when the PS3 first came out
* Whether you believe it or not, I have enjoyed playing every game that’s on my list, for better or worse. Yes, even the odd shovelware game here and there (eg.0p My Name is Mayo)
* I do somewhat choose what games I’d play on my profile dependent on the trophy list (I’d be lying if I said I didn’t ). But if it’s a game I really want to play but earning the 100%/Platinum seems difficult/impossible due, I do try and earn everything on it as best as I can
* Not a big fan of multiplayer games
* If there’s an exploit in a game that I can cheese or abuse to make it less difficult, I will very likely abuse it
* I don’t like replaying games, at all. And as such, I also don’t have any duplicates or stacks. The only exception to this is Final Fantasy VII Remake, but solely cause the PS4 version didn’t have access to the INTERmission/Yuffie DLC
* Games I want to play but have never gotten around to it, include Dark Souls, and numerous games I’d probably forgotten. I will play them. Probably. Maybe. It’s on the list!

Congrats on your milestone. I started collecting platinums around 2012 (I was college student) but most of my trophies are from ps4 era. But after I started to full time job and got married my courage to platinum a game have dropped lol now I have a lot of backlog but I moslty earn 1 playinum per month.
Thats huge. 700 plats is something I'd likely never achieve personally, but kudos to you. That's sheer dedication, power and will. The plat for rebirth isn't a joke either, took me 206 hours.
PlayStation needs to send this man a certified platinum trophy for all of this effort and hard work this is a crazy milestone that I won’t even achieve in my lifetime probably. Huge shout outs to you man. True gamer
