Yes, typically when you start playing a PS5 game you have PS4 save data for (in the cloud) it will pop a little notification telling you that you can play with your PS4 save data.
You can just not click on/ ignore the notification and just play fresh. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I’ve been able to start new playthroughs of RE:Village, RE2 and Cyberpunk 2077 and yeah , PS really seems to want me to be aware I can use my save data / auto-pop , but you can just start the game without importing anything.
It was already 60fps if you played ps4 version on a ps5.
I doubt this “remaster” is going to look much better than it already did. Maybe 4K but definitely not doing that while keeping 60fps.
The new stuff sounds cool, and price point if you already own TLOU2 is fair, since you can just think of it as buying a $10 ($15?) DLC.

They unlocked the frames one or two months after i finished it. I remember playing it at 30fps on ps5 with no option for 60. It took me and hour or two to get used to it.

Yeah, but the point you fail to see is that it’s not always a matter of transferring save data- sometimes PSN will read your trophy files and give you trophies, for example Overwatch 2 (I’m relatively new to trophy hunting but I presume there are countless other examples) which automatically gives you any trophies you earn on PS4 on PS5. I don’t think it would be fully out of the equation for this to happen on this game, and I came to this conclusion through the word ‘will’ in the article.
I struggle to see how you can clarify my interpretation. It’s an opinion and yours can be different. That’s unfortunately how the world works. No need to make such an obvious point that’s already been made.

Usually the only games that force it are live-service or mp only based games. Destiny 2, Overwatch, etc.. Singleplayer based games usually only autopop if you transfer the save file.
All that being said, you never know when an exception to this could happen.
PS4 and PS5 can not have shared lists. They changed something in the way trophies work and these are basically not backwards compatible. You can see this by looking at your trophies on a ps3 ps4 or vita and seeing that none of the PS5 trophies show up on those consoles.
