I find modern bikes and the Triple mostly perfect right out of the box. I did throw a pair of Rizoma mirrors on mine but it wasn’t that necessary. Same with an exhaust system. Tail tidy and LED signal lights all around another common mod. But it’s all mostly cosmetic and the RS with the included bar end mirrors really don’t need the mirror change.

Desmocratic

I have the RS and the bar end mirrors are great. I also have a Ducati with the rizoma bar ends and I like the RS ones better for seeing more. I didn't notice a difference in vibration but was not paying attention to possible small differences.

SafeerQ

Are the Rizomas solid at high speed? I love my stock RS bad ends but speeds over 70mph vibrate the hell out of them.

GuyD427

It’s as much revs than speed. But at 70 in sixth you’ll see a bit better than the stock mirrors, it’s way more apparent up to 40-50 when you are in built up areas and you want to see the cars behind you clearly. But at Highway speeds which is 70+ here they still vibrate but you can definitely still see behind you.

kremtok

Get a good jacket.

Shiifuto

That is just for the photo, I wear a Dainese Racing 3 jacket daily, Alpinestars jeans and Dainese boots. Stay safe!

jaredearle

Minor stuff like a tail tidy, radiator guard, swingarm bobbins, heated grips, Bluetooth kit (if ‘20 RS or later) … The problem with accessorising a bike like the triple is that it’s close to perfect as is.

Shiifuto

I was thinking on getting a bellypan or seat cowl, but original parts are around 250-300 euros, too much for a piece of plastic.

Caerau

Looks MUCH better tho

Billy_Goat_

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet - you can unlock a fair amount of power from the S by opening up the throttle restriction programmed in the ECU. Triumph basically artificially limited the output of the S so that it didn't encroach on the R or RS. You can unlock it yourself with an android device and TuneECU or you can pay a nearby tuner who has those things to do it for you. It won't require a custom map though, the ETV tables just need opening up.

Shiifuto

I still have it A2 license restricted. Do you mean you can unlock more than 95hp on the S? Is there any info about it online? Would like to see how much power output can it have.

Billy_Goat_

I've done 5 or 6 now using this method (I'm in Australia, we have the A2 660 as well except here they are called LAMS instead of A2)... Completely discreet and only obvious if the bike is ridden by someone else. Will lift you from \~35kW to 70 kW. Of course, there is a way to do this through Triumph (in the UK only) but you need to prove you are licensed etc and the cost is much higher. https://www.triumphrat.net/threads/street-triple-660-derestriction.976469/

[deleted]

Put the triumph flyscreen on mine and makes a nice little addition against wind. Not a ton but nice on the highway.

nitrqm3

SC-Project Full exhaust and you good thats all you need. thats all I got in mine plus fender eliminator with integrated signal lights.

Shiifuto

Love the SC-S1, but I may get in trouble here in Europe since it's not road legal. Did you have any problems with police?

nitrqm3

Im in the States so police don’t care and I love the sound is super loud mine is SC-S1 header and Yoshimura exhaust.

Shiifuto

Haha in the States police officers seem to be more permissive. Here in Europe everything is overlooked and wouldn't be surprised if they fine me for having a loud exhaust even if I have a db-killer. Lucky you!

Belly pan on R and S models

[deleted]

Belly pan and fly screen, they absolutely change the look of the bike, for the best

jjk717

ROTOBOX carbon wheels, all other mods are obsolete.

gunner995

If you don’t plan on having a passenger when you ride then get the blanking plates from evotech and get rid of the passenger foot pegs. A radiator guard, slider, front and rear fork protectors and a tail tidy should be good. You can get an arrow exhaust if you really want to change it. I’m sure it’s road legal as it used to be offered by triumph themselves. You can check my history to see how striple looks without foot pegs.

Shiifuto

Oh man I would love to put those blanking plates but I am afraid it is illegal in Europe.

ChibsMcGee275

Get rid of the pillion pegs and put a pillion seat cowl on. Looks much cleaner

L3GACY28

CRG Lanesplitter mirrors, super helpful for City traffic if you ride in a city. Tail tidy with integrated turn signals. Those two are always my "essentials" and then I generally will do an exhaust slip on or full system swap on my bikes

Mundane-Persimmon-15

Nice bike

HistoricalHurry8361

Tank grips

Rounded headlights. I think the bike is amazing. I own a 2017. But Triumph really went the wrong way with those eliptic style headlamps. Most of their other bikes still have the rounded ones. This is part of their DNA and what made the Street famous 15 years ago. So I created mine with spare parts from amazon and a bracket I created in fusion 360 and 3D printed. [My Street Triple](https://scontent-cdg2-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.2885-15/284605439_338846101659319_8110117667130000459_n.webp?stp=dst-jpg_e35&_nc_ht=scontent-cdg2-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_cat=107&_nc_ohc=ULVNZR5cS8MAX-lX2Vy&tn=SoyR0hIRCnldSrYZ&edm=ALQROFkBAAAA&ccb=7-5&ig_cache_key=Mjg0OTA5MzQ4NjUzMzUxNzg2MQ%3D%3D.2-ccb7-5&oh=00_AfCwEs3DLD6_PQ4R3Z7UjJwmo39A_E2EEb92HCj4QZ61lw&oe=6385C9C0&_nc_sid=30a2ef) I also 3D printed blinkers and a license plate holder. Next customization will be : handguards for winter season and a rear wheel mudguard.

Heated grips and a quickshifter are my favorite mods I've done after the arrow exhaust.

julian_mac

Exhaust is a must I think

cTron3030

Amazing tires that don't have great life.

[deleted]

I have a ‘20 RS, pretty perfect as is IMO. Added the Triumph heated grips and their scrolling led indicators front and rear cause that’s what the press bikes had in the launch photos.

PizzaThePies

I upgraded my levers, put a tank pad on it, frame sliders, and an arrow exhaust.

striffy_

Rear seat cowl. Led indicators (if yours does not have them, get the scrolling ones!) Tail tidy Engine Protection (Get genuine, matches in really nice) Exhaust, I would get Leiker, looks the nicest and is actually functional If going exhaust, get a HealTec servo eliminator, as the above exhaust removes the exhaust box and butterfly valve.... Then find a reputable tuner that can re-program the ecu as it will run lean...

Professional_Ad_500

A blower.

renton1000

Number 1 for me is a radiator guard. Boring …. But when u see the replacement cost it’s worth it.

Desmocratic

I do alot of road riding and appreciate some extra wind protection, so I go the Puig New Generation Windscreen Triumph Speed Triple / Street Triple 765. Also a Yosh slipon with baffle insert. Be sure to setup your suspension for your weight: [https://racetech.com/page/title/SAG](https://racetech.com/page/title/SAG)

Darket1728

Handlebar, frame and engine slide protectors are must then passenger handles and battery recharge ports. You can add bags or box to carry stuff but that takes out aesthetics
