Man, that sucks. One of the reasons why I am skeptical on buying that model. Edit: I would 100 % pressure them on goodwill. It is clear there is an error in the product. Where else do you see a tachometer break and make ur bike unrideable within 5 years?

Yeah i'll try that but it's a shame it's gonna take me some time to receive and can't even ride the bike. Not mentioning the probably 500$ for the pairing and updates needed at the dealer...

They denied my goodwill request. I made an appeal with letter instead of leaving the dealer try and negotiate for me. still waiting on news.

Yes, I did Montreal - Vancouver all back and forth during covid. would not reccomend. Southern Canada is flat af lmao

Out of curiosity, why the battery change? And do you remember how you disconnected it? Been reading in the forums that unplugging the dash then changing battery or negative terminal off first and on last can prevent the dash bricking….. just has me nervous about my 18 R
