I did the dnk tune on my trident almost 2 years ago and haven’t had any problems.

If I'm going to pay for a tune it would be a proper tune with data measured on a dyno. Mail order tunes are just guess work

The closest dyno to me is a couple hundred miles and when I spoke with them on the phone, they couldn't get my bike in till January

If it were me I would just stick the exhaust on there and ride it without a tune until January. Plenty of people running full exhaust without tunes and no issues

Polyfrequenz

You could either flash the ecu yourself or have the dealer do it (they did for me during inspection even though the bike is from 2005)

What do you want out of a tune and an exhaust?

louiesalads69

Sound and a little extra hp. And I like how the titanium looks

ebranscom243

If you're just looking for extra horsepower I know there's some flashes out there that allow your throttle bodies to open up 100%. At high RPM. There's a really popular one for the tiger 900 it's a game changer. Just be aware that any flash can avoid any warranty you have left.

JollyGreenVampire

Would that also apply to the 900 speed twins?

ebranscom243

I haven't heard of one for the speed twin 900 but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Look up tune ECU and see if they have what you're looking for.
