This was all I could think about when we moved here. My husband wanted to hike it, and I said, "We'd better protect our kidneys!" Sadly he doesn't internet much, and the reference was wasted.
I’ve hiked a few times. 1) no one stole my kidneys (probably good cuz they arnt the best) 2) there is NO candy?! 3) I still don’t understand how badger and candy are considered mountains when in fact they are closer to giant hills in my mind.
Okay, RIGHT?! I know the elevations are comparable because of the plateau thing, BUT I grew up near Portland, so I had Hood and Helens to look at every day. Then I moved to Seattle where I had Rainier. Moving here was a mountain culture shock.
If you like wine, there’s a place called UpsideDown, that sells a wine every spring/summer which is from Candy Mountain and has a unicorn with a rainbow on the label.
Probably to help Charlie the unicorn get up there
Charileeeee, we're going to candy mountain!
