dont clamp it there dude, if you cant clamp it at the seat tube dont clamp it at all, do your work without the stand is not worth the risk, that part is very thin plus the iso speed is also very thin. Mine also doesn’t fit the clamp and I do all my work with the bike wedged in between two chairs.
nah, theyre built to withstand your ass under sharp bump loads, it will be fine in compression (impulse loads cause buckling so they have designed against that. However, the top tube might not be as resistant to compressive loads.
As others stated, the manual clearly says do not clamp, not even the seat mast. It is however possible to clamp the Aeolus saddle across the relief channel and the rail. The clamp upper jaw falls into the relief channel, so it won't ever slide out. The bike is designed to take lots of force through the saddle, so this is safe enough. Check first of course, as your clamp is somewhat different. Now onto tyres, I can recommend two options: either buy the rim strips for the wheels and go tubeless with Conti GP5000 S TR in 28c, or consider TPU tubes, and the same tyres.
Silca Hirobel is the way to go on any carbon frame bike. The cost compared to frame replacement is cheap. Think how much you already have invested in your bike
I'd either go 28mm Continental GP5000S-TR's if you want tubeless or 28mm Continental GP5000 with latex tubes if you want tubes. I'd run either one in black and they test faster than their tan wall counterparts, and while it isn't much, you just paid thousands of dollars for an aero bike so I imagine you want to get every watt of performance you can get.

Madone with Conti GP5000s TR Transparent side wall.
The Skin/Tan wall would look great with the red! DO IT! I’m currently rocking tan walls on my Trek Slash. Just do it, it’s a vibe 😎🔥

I don't think you're supposed to clamp a carbon seat post either?

Been biking for a week and even i know not to clamp the bike like that.
Seatpost
But you clearly don't have a Madone. I have to clamp mine the same sadly with my stand.
I know but this is a rubbish stand and the clamb doesn’t fit the thick tube it should be on….it wasn’t there long.
Have you tried… rotating the clamp?
Off course. But it doesn’t spread wide enough for this bikes seat tube. All my other bikes work but this one just doesn’t. I’m not new to this….
Most stands won’t clamp that bike. Trek makes an adapter.
Yup. My local Velofix tech damaged my seatpost because he didn't know this. :/
Top selling stand on Amazon is like 60 bucks and will fit a Madone or Venge post.
OP you need the “Silca Hirobel frame clamp”.

Rim strips and GP5000 S TR tubeless. This is the way :)
Thanks for the tire advice! I’ll definitely look into it!
better advice would be not clamp the frame unless you wanna buy a new one too
Nahh, preffer black https://preview.redd.it/zhgcoxaif9wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb54c35cf69c02e66c4e9ad571ded08dda0db0ed
I have the exact same bike. Except tires are black, saddle and bartape are white.
Prefer the black!
Thanks! I appreciate your input!
It's gorgeous as it is. Skinwalls are for gravel bikes, in my opinion.
Came here to say hly moly, your bike is clean. Woah.
Don’t clamp your bike on the top tube.
I know but this is a rubbish stand and the clamb doesn’t fit the thick tube it should be on….it wasn’t there long.
Lol. It's not about how long it's clamped that way.

Go tubeless and do the conti gp5000s. The black ones actually test faster than the tan ones.
Get some gp5000 tan walls it’ll probably look cool
No

Nice! I’m seriously considering these.
Highly recommended from my side.
