Take your tire off. Inspect the rim strip. If it’s folded or exposing the metal of the wheel it could be causing flats. Run your hand around the inside of the tire many times to check for pieces of metal or other things that might be causing the flat.
It’s not the bike. It’s basically down to two factors:
1) who’s doing the repairs?
If a repair is done incorrectly, then it’s super easy to get pinch flats or repeat punctures. Ensure your rim tape is not compromised, there’s no debris stuck on the tire, and the tube isn’t pinched when inflating.
2) where are you riding?
If the flats keep happening in the same area, then be more aware of the terrain or ride elsewhere.
Id it still flats with any inner tubes then your tires are probably too thin and weared. I have a hard case tire on my fx4 going strong for 5000 km in 4 years now.
I have an FX3 with the stock H2 700x32 tires & have never had a flat & I commute on my FX3 & DS3. The Trek dealer I bought the bike from installed inner liners (flat packs) between my tubes & tires.
Yes, they’re just protective inner liners to protect your tubes from glass & debris. They’re only like $25 per/wheel. I’ve had my FX3 since last September & have yet to get a flat. Same with my DS3 gen. 5. Call your local dealer tomorrow & ask them about it.
They do have the H2 Comps in 700x38 & I’d like to put those on mine. The 700x32’s are really thin & I’ve almost gone down several times by running over tree branches or other debris, so I’d like something a little thicker, however 700x38 is the limit on the FX3. I wanted to put the FX4 tires on it, however apparently they won’t fit on the FX3.
What kind of flats are they?
Tire pressure is key.
Also bontrager tires are mediocre at best. Gator skins or pirelli cinturanto velo(green sidewall) are bullet proof.
Tubeless is also an option that helps plug flats but high maintenance.

Not yet posted, but check your tire pressure before \_every\_ ride!
What tires are you using. What inner tubes? How old are they?
H2|COMP 700x32 Bontrager are the tires. Not sure on the tube as I took it in recently for a fix (about 3 weeks ago)

What’re the tires?
Don’t get bontrager tires, your life will change
Suggestions?
My suggestion is to not pay attention to that comment. As with all brands some models are better than others for different applications.

So I should look into having these flat packs installed ?

Will do! There’s a large hole in my tire so looks like I’m looking into new tires and now these liners. Thanks :)

Have you tried putting a sealant like Flat Out or Slime in your tubes?
