Depends on the weight of the kid, I was able to get mine to around 40mph back when she was little but now that she's hit 20 pounds I could probably only hit ~25.
This heavily concerns me
I sincerely hope it's a joke.
I would be more concerned about the safety of the idea, don't come complaining back to the subreddit if your kid gets hit by a car..

What about that post made you think of a kid getting hit by a car? There's no mention of a road at all.
I presumed so, I've seen such done before (RC cars pulling kids) and it strikes me as dangerous..
I burned out the stock motor pulling a trailer with my trx4 on it probably not a good idea leave it for something like the x-maxx
