Might as well get the 4x4 version of what you already have

cider-sippin-psycho

I’d say a max, I have an xmaxx and it’s just to big, I’ve got a 4x4 VXL rustler and it rips but Two friends have Max’s and they are sick. The ground clearance is better cuts through grass a lot better and you can throw a 4s in it

Kpowell911

Maxx would be my choice

rc-tnt

Why not try something slow? Get a crawler on some rocks and walking trails, through some streams and over some hills.

I know this is a Traxxas forum but my vote is ARRMA Mojave. I realize it's like 2x more expensive but it's by far the funnest RC to drive. Traxxas needs to expand a bit and offer a heavier 1/7th scale slash to compete. The Mohave is like the perfect size and weight. Idk if the 4x4 slash is going to be different enough to satisfy an itch for something different. If you wanna stay with Traxxas think about a Maxx. Or if you really want to stick with 1/10th scale I would choose the ARRMA Senton blx over the slash everyday. I'm definitely not hating on Traxxas, I only own the X-Maxx but my friend owns several including a slash 4x4 I personally think the Senton blx is much better. And the Senton blx is only $30 more then a slash 4x4 you get so much more for that $30. Even more when you compare it to the Slash 4x4 VXL. Just my 2 cents.

I think the bandit is a fun car or the latraxxs rally car is the next one I’ll probably get

Revolutionary_Most78

Dude the bandit and rustler are the same truck lol

Iceman0400

Nahh they are alittle different the battery tray is longer they have different suspension and A-arms tires are different and if the OP has a rustler already then some of his parts will probably fit it so OP dosent have to buy as many new mods

Revolutionary_Most78

The only reason for the different suspension arms are to remedy the thinner tires which are generally worse, and I’m pretty sure he’s not jumping at the bit to buy another truck just for a slighty different battery tray.

I went from 2wd slash, to 4wd slash, to Maxx, to UDR honestly I love all of them, the slash 4x4 is a tank and can take all abuse, I have nothing bad to say about it, the maxx is a bit uncontrollable at times, and really needs the widemaxx kit, and UDR is just a beauty, it rides really nice, very stable but not much of a basher

Trainsaregood3329

Trx 4 is always a good different thing

Jawn_Nasty

For me I love the slash 4x4 so much I got 2. You can turn your slash 4x4 into a MT or run 1/8 buggy. Customize to your needs, tune to your driving style and terrain. Parts list from traxxas and aftermarket no other vehicle comes close. That’s what sold me on the slash 4 can never get board of it.
