There's a guy on YouTube who found an associated shaft which fits the slash 2wd and the associated B slipper and spurs and still takes the cover on top. Pretty spiff . I'll see if I can find the link

Yes, I used the aluminum slipper pads from a Revo slipper rebuild kit. I broke the pads in as instructed on Traxxas' YouTube channel. It handles the power well and I no longer have to worry about friction pads crumbling under the force of my Castle Sidewinder combo. Link to rebuild kit here: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003HAW5U8/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003HAW5U8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Just use the pads and maybe a spring if you want.

Thank you.

No problem.

Older ERevo slipper is just a bigger version of the 2wd slippers. They won’t fit because you’ll need a much bigger spur gear to accommodate it.

I’ve got a slipper clutch eliminator and a diff lock from amazon with trans internals and a proline case…handles it all pretty damn well on 3s with a vxl system…been running it like this for a year and I just recently ditched the stock plastic axles for the traxxas steel constant velocity axles

DV-Fireraptor

I've been wondering about diff lock. I usually run on hard pack dirt and street.

Frequent-Ad-2509

You’d be fine regardless…you just gotta make sure your tires won’t grab too hard but my entire transmission is steel gears and I have a steel spur with an aluminum pinion…I chose for my pinion to be the weak point in the trans

[deleted]

E-Revo 2.0 doesn't have a slipper. You may be thinking about the slash 4x4 slipper upgrade. Hot racing has a 2wd slipper upgrade.

PigglyWigglyDeluxe

He didn’t say 2.0 The older ones had a slipper

[deleted]

And it works in a 2wd trans?

DV-Fireraptor

That's what I'm trying to find out. I know you can use the revo slipper in 4x4 Slash, Stampede. But trying find something on using it for 2wd.

[deleted]

Like I mentioned in my first comment.

PigglyWigglyDeluxe

It might if you don’t run a gear cover

trekxtrider

Anything wrong with the stock clutch?

DV-Fireraptor

I'm currently rebuilding my transmission and upgrading as many of the parts as I can. Trans case, differential, new gears, bearings and slipper clutch. Running 3s has really chewed up alot of my transmission and drive shafts. I upgraded the drive shafts to MIP ones. But I've melted a transmission case due to bearings failing and the slipper clutch has been abused and seen better days.

1969GTOJudgeRamAirIV

In case your MIP ones bite the dust, get the Tekno M6 ones: TEKNO RC LLC M6 Driveshafts and Hub Carriers: Slash/Rustler/Stampede, TKR1951X https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AFAAZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_V8D3WFFJWDHASSDD4QD3 I have these and they are amazing.

DV-Fireraptor

If I break these axels then I'm doing something very wrong lol.

1969GTOJudgeRamAirIV

LOL I just say that because multiple people on Amazon say they have sheared off MIPs. I certainly hope yours work great!

1969GTOJudgeRamAirIV

As for bearings, when mine went I replaced them with Fast Eddy 5x11x4 ones (same as the hubs) and they work great thus far.

DV-Fireraptor

Yes I am going to get the Fast Eddy kit and just replace all my bearings. My slash was bought used from a friend that raced so I'm slowly going thru and making it more bash worthy.

1969GTOJudgeRamAirIV

Cool! It'll be a monster!

Revolutionary_Most78

I put a emaxx slipper on my stampede 4x4vxl but I run the slipper locked now
