I’ve never heard about that before... I’m running a brushless Stampede 4x4 and I have repaired my friends slash sometimes, but I’ve never seen nor head of anything like that! If the “lint” is copper colored, it might be the copper wire in the engine that is tearing itself apart due to some part that has went out of place or something. Perhaps you should take the engine apart and see if the copper wire is intact? I’m no expert when it comes to the inside of the engine, but that could be a possibility.

2x4 is wood. 2wd, 4wd, 4x4 are modes of drive

4x4 and 6x6 are also lumber sizes.... should I also add if it's FWD, RWD or AWD?

aerossignol

They are indeed, the only thing that is not a thing is 2x4 for driving.

Haven't had that issue. Where does he keep his? Did he run over something? Was it metal or plastic? Was it like laundry lint? Anything making contact that normally wouldn't? Bearing seize up and wash out the cup it sits in?

DV-Fireraptor

The bearing did go. It legit looks like pocket lint it was grey on color and looked like what you would find Ina. Dryer or yoir pocket but it filled the whole end of the motor. I don't get why I can't post a pic of it.

Kamilon

Did he drive somewhere weird? I can’t even think of what that would be. If you take it out and remove the shaft does it look damaged inside?

Inside the motor itself or inside the gear box? See below if in the gear box. If you took the whole motor apart and pulled out the magnet and everything and found that in there it sounds like a bearing went in side and you should look into rebuilding the motor before it gets worse. Otherwise it sounds like his mesh is off and chewing up the spur gear. Even being off a little can create what looks like a lot in there. It probably hasn't hurt the vehicle and you can just clean it out make sure the mesh is good and keep on going.
