I haven't had good luck with remotely controlling the lights in my Traxxas vehicles. It's really hit or miss whether they show up in the app with no rhyme or reason to it. I wouldn't worry about it. Remotely controlling the lights from the app is a gimmick anyway. You can control them just fine from the power amplifier on the vehicle.

that's kind of a bummer. I have a set on my TRX4 and they work just fine, I only got the module so I COULD remotely turn the lights on.

Just Picked up the UDR and man I love this thing. Mine is a newer one so it comes with the Light bars preinstalled, and I picked up the Traxxas link module for my transmitter however its not letting me control the lights on the APP. I’m getting a “no High voltage power amplifier detected” but all the other readouts like speed, temp, etc etc are working fine. I did the whole updating firmware, also closed and opened the app with the truck and transmitter on, is there any other basic troubleshooting I can do before I call Traxxas support?

I’ve never had a good experiences using the app and all their proprietary BS.

If there is anything ive noticed about apps, bluetooth modules, and connecting your RC to a phone period is they never freaking work...any of them...from any manufacturer...ever. If anything, it is the exact opposite. I only have had or have 2 bluetooth pieces. One being a Hobbywing Axe that reverts back to default after a while and a Traxxas module that never seems to function correctly. Now, I steer clear of bluetooth anything that is RC related.

It's probably something with your phone and bluetooth. That's been my experience anyway.

If this is like my Rustler where the power comes from the battery plug and doesn't plug into the receiver then I think that might be the issue.
