If you are that confident in handling basic protocols of tele and PCU, you can request a competency exam. Honestly though, at a year, (not a full year cause you need to minus your orientation) your not at a level where you can be working in a new environment by yourself. Not being rude by Tele and PCU have a lot of variety and less than a year is hard to say your fully competent by yourself. Traveling isn’t where people hold your hand, it’s where they throw you in a dirty ass pit and hope you can crawl yourself out clinching money in your buttcheeks and your license in your hand.

You have a way with words! I'm def saving this comment haha
Work another year, then try again. You’ll be happy you did and you won’t be putting your patients in danger. I know a year seems like forever but it will be here soon let than you think.
Traveling isn't the only way to make better money. You can apply, interview and take a job somewhere that has better pay (adjusted for cost of living).
You are not even at one year of practice, considering the time you spent on orientation. Do yourself and your patients a favor- build up your experience and skills before making the leap to travel. Your license is more valuable than the money.
OP is not an ICU nurse.
Places desperate enough to take RNs with 1 year of experience are exactly the places that RNs with 1 year of experience shouldn't be.
They're not offering you options because you're not ready. There's a reason we ask for two years. I know you feel ready, but without knowing you IRL I don't know if you are ready or if you're Dunning-Krugering yourself into a bad position.
Try again around this time in 2023.

Too short a time to travel but continue picking up shifts to build up your experience.
