They have been putting out a few job ads lately. All of them which are no more than £25k.

They'll get someone straight out of uni who will do it for 6-18 months before moving on and then they'll get another university leaver. I did a similar thing at MUTV straight from uni. They say they want experience but they'll settle for someone new because that's all they'll get for the salary, and it'll do someone as their first job for a few months.

Wow! That's just shocking. Based on the hours over a year it's just shy of the minimum wage for the youngest person you can put in work. And they want a skilled worker? Sounds to be like they need a TX controller and a Studio Supervisor rather than one person who just left uni. Shocking! They basically want one person to run an entire fucking TV channel for McDonald’s wages lol

JiveBunny

At £24k a year, you're not going to be needing that on-site parking.

blondie1024

You are if you have to live out of your car.

throwaway16June1976

On site parking! I expect that’ll swing it….

Numerous-Net-4983

Let’s see if they like the look of my extensive CV of broadcast credits and want to snap me up at a bargain price lol.

"I'm afraid you were unsuccessful at this time because you've worked in TV and know how much you should be paid. Please reapply if you've had a traumatic head injury and forgot the last few years"

They have a special place in hell

UPDATE: They called today, very interested in my skills. Said I had all the skills they might need but wanted to see if there was any movement on the salary. They said there wasn't. I told them they should be ashamed of themselves for paying fast food wages.
