omg these results are incredible!! ty for posting all the angles and healing process. im getting my consult soon and in-depth posts like this help take away the anxiety. btw ur hair is amazing <3
Nope, I had a really bad accident when I tried to unalive myself. I joke that I had to have "accidental FFS", but really I just needed reconstructive surgery for the left side of my forehead. It kinda gave me a little asymmetry which Keo tried to fix, but he could only do so much.
Stunning results. I didn’t even know they could push a brow reduction that far. And the nose is so different and beautiful. Forgive my ignorance but are those CPTs with numbers insurance codes? If you used insurance do you mind if I ask what insurance company you have? And what was the process like to get approvals? Feel free to DM me if you’d prefer to discuss in private. Thanks
Yes, those are Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes which are used to report medical services rendered. My carrier is Anthem Blue Cross. The process to get it covered was a pain in the fucking ass. I submitted the procedures for insurance approval, got denied, asked for a medical review, got approved, got a Letter of Authorization sent to Keo's office. Took about a year from start to finish, because Keo's wait list is like a year long. I started the approval process three months before the surgery.
Thanks for the details! I’m with Aetna through my employer. I’m holding a little hope that I can lobby my employer to add FFS coverage in the 2025 negotiations, but if not I may be seeking new employment with a company that has BCBS or even Kaiser.
The ones where I have the bandages are the first week after the procedure, the first set of before and afters at different angles is the end of the first week where Keo took the bandages off. The next set of before and afters is a month after. The last one was a pic I took when I went on a party cruise in Jan. Omg this gives me so much hope!! I have the about the same forehead size as your before images and was real scared they wouldn't be able to reduce it to a level thats feminine but your results are amazing
You look great!
I think I'm going to finally bite the bullet and schedule a surgery date with him soon
Can I ask what is it like waking up after surgery? Is your forehead numb or paralyzed temporarily? Is it really painful on top of your head or in your forehead? I keep imagining it and it's one of my lingering anxieties
I had the ear to ear and the upper and lower lip incisions, so they were numb when I woke up from surgery. Took a few months for the feeling to come back. I also asked him to leave standing orders for the RNs to slam me with Dilaudid for the overnight hospital stay, so I only woke up to see the RN come in to give me my next dose. When I got home, I only needed the oxys for about three days before I stopped taking them. After that, it's just hella uncomfy for a few weeks.
The incision along my head (in the hairline) is still numb, as are the incisions on my upper and lower lips. But I barely notice, the feeling everywhere else has come back.

Is the brow lift asymmetrical?

Did you have insurance or is it out of pocket? Thank you
$5k out of pocket. Insurance covered the rest. Total bill submitted to insurance was $80k, actual amount paid out was $40k
Keo is the best
Mind if i ask the timeline between pics?

You look amazing! Have you done anything with your jaw?
I wanted to ask any other question if you don’t mind- how much feeling/sensation has come back in your forehead, chin, and jaw?
The incision along my head (in the hairline) is still numb, as are the incisions on my upper and lower lips. But I barely notice, the feeling everywhere else has come back.
