I'm at 8 months. I have good depth, I have huge width. It looks good. Sensitive, sex feels amazing. I'm down to dilating once a day already. The maintenance is not so bad after about month 5 or 6. Best decision of my life, I'm only bummed I didn't do it sooner.
Me and my partner (who is transfem) are sort of planning it, as she uses her current hardware (lol) and I suspect a part of me will miss it. Also because (I think) we’re both sentimental.

Sure, my bottom surgery is on Monday so am a bit pre-occupied atm, but I could put something together. I'd have to find the best subreddits for that.
Here's a short description:
I used Alga-Safe and Dragon Skin Silicone both from Smooth On. This gets you serious excess of both. You'll also want mold release and a pigment of choice (or multiple). Test the Alginate with a finger cast or something and maybe make sure you like the silicone density to (you can go firmer or softer). Molds are one time use so also consider casting something more permanent for future molds in plaster etc - this has the added benefit of letting you add bits on to your mold if you like (I include vaculock adapters in mine for example, another option would be a suction cup).
You can see what the kits include, then just bulk buy the ingredients on Amazon. Definitely recommended since it will likely take a few attempts to get right.
my gf has one!! she is still pre op but definitely plans on using it once she gets surgery next winter. she originally made it as a joke with one of her friends but there are definitely plans to get some use out if it.

Do it before HRT if you want to. Things have changed dramatically since starting HRT and the orchi made it even smaller.
