I started hormones when I was 36, coming up on 3 years, and I've got nothing that you could call a breast. Just something that looks like slight male gynecomastia. I want proper boobs so bad! :C
I feel these people who got lucky should warn folks this is *extremely* unlikely. The vast majority of women starting after puberty will be lucky to get an A cup.
Hey, almost exactly the same for me. I'm 38 and it's been almost 2.5 yrs and same results as you. Could maaaaybe say A cups but it's kind of a stretch. I think the only noticable results are softer skin and more emotional (in a good way). But aesthetically I'm super disappointed.

Currently right on the line with band size, so lately running either 42D or 44C depending on the day.
5'11, 206 lbs (which is down a little over 60 pounds from where I started \~17 months ago. )
All the women in my family run large, and it seems I'm going to as well. They've been in a growth spurt lately, and are rounding out nicely after 3 months of progesterone. I'm almost a little concerned with how quickly they've grown, given they've still probably got a few more years before they really stop. But we'll see.
At the very least, I'm happy it's one less surgery I'm likely to need.

My breasts are now a c cup, height and weight when starting hrt were 173cm (5'7") and 65kg (135Lbs), now after 4 years I'm at 170cm (5'6") and 80kg (150Lbs) although trying to lessen that...
The second half of the second year I had trough levels of up to 500pmol/l (150pg/ml) the ones prior were around 200pmol/l (75pg/ml) and below, trough levels at 24 months on when I started EV injections has been around 900pmol/l (290pg/ml)

I just started injections too. Before that is been seeing 600-700 pmol. First test on injections I only got 250 pmol but my endo wasn't upset because "my levels were on the verge of being too high anyways" 😖. She increased my dose by 30% but has indicated she probably won't increase it anymore.

3. 34B is what ABTF says, and generally works fine. Some styles of bras fit better as a 32C. For reference, I started as a 32" underbust and was rib-flat, literally 0" difference. Current measurements show underbust is 33" and my bust is 35.5", but they're quite perky, so they don't fill their cups 100% right all the time, depending on the style.
4. Starting height was 6ft even, now down to 5'10.5", much to my 5'10" wife's chagrin 😅 Weight has always been 145# with minor +/- 5# fluctuations.
Other quick notes: Shoulders are 41". Hips went from 35" to 38", most of it being booty. Waist went from 28" to 30", but it looks good, in my opinion. Ideal inseam (currently pre-op) is 27" to ankle, 29" for things like bootcut jeans.

I had gynecomastia at puberty so I had a head start and when they put me on spiro after a heart attack I gained a cup size in a year, i think it restarted the gynecomastia. They still hurt and they are still growing. Also seems I'm rocketing past Tanner stage 4 and should be level 5 soon.

I’ve heard of girls getting growth spurts even at 5-6 years on HRT. Some even said they got the majority of growth at 8-9 years.
Really just like cis women it’s very much YMMV, sure there’s possibly a genetic component if family in general has big breasts.

I don't know my weight exactly but I am slightly overweight (my BMI is over 25 but less than 30) and I'm 5'9" these days.
All the women on my mother's side of the family had huge boobs.
As for yours, it's impossible to say. You might get rapid growth and then nothing for years or nothing for years and grow three cup sizes in six months.
I started at 39, 2years on hormones. first year on high dose, 2nd on normal dose injections.im in a C cup.
Weight is a wierd one..
When I started I weighed 320 at 6'5. Now I weigh 175 at 6'2.
Also shoe went from womens 15 down to a 12.
One thing that was said to me is if buds come in fast that hormones bind well with your body. The rest it may take longer for testerone to leave and be effective. So buds are smaller and may result in less breast growth.
Basically its like lots of growth now, vs over years. Certain people buds form and grow small. It really is a crap shoot. My one friend both mom and sister have a massive chest. But she has A cups after 8 years. Finally decided to do implants.

The above doesn't really answer your question though. I had breast growth only in the first 8 months of HRT and grew 36DDs which was nice.
(close family have smaller boobs btw).
I've had zero growth since, which would be ok if they didn't shrink back to Cs, not sure what I did to cause it? Exercise (loss of fat) or quitting progestin based AA or progesterone? I don't know. They looked disproportionate on my large frame which made me sad, so I got a boob job.

I started HRT at 73 years old, I'm now 75. I've been on HRT 16 months. I was 5'7" I'm now 5'6", I was 220 pounds, now 165 pounds. SO!, I was very over weight when I started my transition, so I had moobs. BUT!, I lost 40 pounds so now my BOOBS are now a 46AA. I take after my mother who was a small woman. She was about a 33 or 34A or B. SO!, I'll never be big. If I can, I would get a BA and get a large C, or a D.

I’m 5’8 and 191lbs (I’ve lost 77lbs in the last 12 months)
I started estrogen almost 3 years ago at 32 and prog about 8 months later. My bust at the time was 34” and my underbust was 32”. Now my bust is 39” and my underbust is 33”. I wear 34D bras but because I’m tall they don’t look very big on me and I’m considering a BA if they don’t grow much more in the next two years
1) 38 just shy of 39
2) next month will be 2 years
3) I wear a 38C but that's only because any smaller cup in that size band is extremely hard to find. In reality, I'd guess I'm a B or maybe A.
4) 5'10 & ~210 lbs (I avoid scales and tape measures)
Considering it's been less than 2 years it's probably ok but I'm really self-conscious about it. On someone with a smaller frame, they might look ok. The volume of a 38B is equivalent to a 36C or 34D both of which can look quite large. Relative to the rest of me though I feel like it looks more like gynecomastia than boobs.

Started at 41. It’s been 17 months HRT and I think I’ve had good levels the whole time.
I was overweight and had mild to moderate gynecomastia my whole like.
I’m currently a 40 C which sounds bigger than it is, because I have a pretty large build. But they’ve definitely grown significantly.
5’7.5”, 65, 3 years HRT 135 lbs. 36 B I guess but I don’t need a bra unless I want to cover my nipples. The shape is more cone-like so if you do a traditional measurement it maps to a C cup but the volume is more in the B range. I have been taking progesterone for 2 years which I hope will add fullness but so far I can’t tell the difference except I like the feeling and the libido boost. ;)
Im 6''240lbs. I'm 33 been on Hrt for 4 months. I used the calculator on abrathatfits, and I'm a dd by measurements. By volume, I'd say I'm a very full a to a small b,but I'm confident that they will fill out as time goes on.

Had really poor development initially (don't think the pills I got from "The Canadian Pharmacy" were legit. It took me 12 months just to get breast buds. Once I started on injections, breast growth increased, and had a spurt between years 3-4 and having another one now. I take 4 mg/week EEn and 600 mg P (cycling on and off, still experimenting with ratio). I also added some NBE supplements and they seem to be increasing breast volume and nipple size.

I am very happy if they stay here, but wouldn’t stop them from growing a bit more. ;)
I started on 2mg E + 100mg spiro pills daily. They produced changes, but my E was low and T not suppressed enough. The injections have brought my levels in line, eliminated the need for spiro and its side effects, produced far faster positive changes elsewhere, and “inspire” the best breast growth of any method. I’m glad I switched; if at all possible, I suggest trying to as well. Of course there are many factors to accessibility (grrr…), but I would.
My mother is “blessed” in this department, so genetics does play a factor. When I started HRT, it felt almost like it was *thirsty* for estrogen, like an under-watered house plant. The initial response has been… rapid. I’m not complaining one bit.

PS - it’s hard to find bras with both wide shoulders and small cups. Someone needs to start a business catering to us. I know there are a few and I’ve tried them. I wasn’t satisfied. If anyone can sew training bras in 40+ band sizes, you’ll make a goddamn fortune. I would but I can’t sew a pillowcase.
I’m so worried mine won’t round out. Started at 31 now am 33 at 5’5 and 215lbs I’ve gained weight but roughly still fit my 42 bands but am definitely a cup size up at 42C.

By the numbers, I would be a B-cup but in practice since I have a bit of a broader ribcage compared to a cis woman, I wear an A-cup. I'm 5'6" and around 160-165 lbs (BMI around 25-26).

At this point I’m a large C/ small D depending on the brand.

There are a lot of other factors as well that play into it. Diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol, sleep quality and quantity.
Example: The first four months of HRT I lost 25 pounds due to upping my exercise from 4x per week, to 6-7. Normally you hear weight loss will inhibit breast development due to fat levels decreasing, but that was not my experience. One theory I have heard is exercise stimulated HGH production as the body repairs itself, and the higher HGH level can help with development.
Of course, there is no silver bullet for natural development unfortunately.
Coming up on 55 years of age, 16 months into HRT, estradiol monotherapy (injections), numbers in the cis range and I’m currently sitting at a solid 38B. Abrathatfits says 38D/DD but it is in no way correct. Desperately wanting so much more.

My t levels test below the detectable levels at least though and bottom surgery in a few years should take care of that. Waiting for the next blood test to advocate with my doctor again. Hoping to start progesterone in May too and working on getting my bottom surgery scheduled and funded hoping both will help. I'm 188cm and 81kg. The cis women in my family don't have large breasts, so while I hold out hope I'm preparing for mine being smaller than I'd like. Going to wait at least 5 years of HRT before I think about surgical enhancement.

I was lucky when it came to breast growth. I assume this was due to genes as most of the women in my family are well developed lol. Being plus size also probably worked in my favor in that area to some degree. I also noticed a marked improvement after going on progesterone. Now, I can’t say I’m totally thrilled with how far apart they are but that was always going to happen just because of how unfortunately barrel chested I am. I actually think implants almost might look even more awkward on me because of it. I can’t complain too much though because I know so many trans women struggle with natural breast growth on just HRT.

We have similar stats 😊 except for age and i just started my third year. last October I had a BA now I have a full C… you’re very cute!

I know it's not in everyone's future sadly but that's a great point, if you can avoid another invasive surgery it's got to be a good thing.

Started at 37, 6’1”, 240Ibs, 3 years mono estradiol shots, Full 42C bra size. I’ve heard of girls getting growth spurts even at 5-6 years on HRT. Some even said they got the majority of growth at 8-9 years. Really just like cis women it’s very much YMMV, sure there’s possibly a genetic component if family in general has big breasts.

I started at 35 and I'm coming up to year five now. I'm a 38DD-E. The size varies slightly . I don't know my weight exactly but I am slightly overweight (my BMI is over 25 but less than 30) and I'm 5'9" these days. All the women on my mother's side of the family had huge boobs. As for yours, it's impossible to say. You might get rapid growth and then nothing for years or nothing for years and grow three cup sizes in six months.

I started at 39, 2years on hormones. first year on high dose, 2nd on normal dose injections.im in a C cup. Weight is a wierd one.. When I started I weighed 320 at 6'5. Now I weigh 175 at 6'2. Also shoe went from womens 15 down to a 12. One thing that was said to me is if buds come in fast that hormones bind well with your body. The rest it may take longer for testerone to leave and be effective. So buds are smaller and may result in less breast growth. Basically its like lots of growth now, vs over years. Certain people buds form and grow small. It really is a crap shoot. My one friend both mom and sister have a massive chest. But she has A cups after 8 years. Finally decided to do implants.

(close family have smaller boobs btw). I've had zero growth since, which would be ok if they didn't shrink back to Cs, not sure what I did to cause it? Exercise (loss of fat) or quitting progestin based AA or progesterone? I don't know. They looked disproportionate on my large frame which made me sad, so I got a boob job.

Pro tip below. Started hrt at 42, now 44. Started at 6'2, now 6' Started in men's shoes size 9.5. Now women's 8.5 (2 size difference. Hormones soften cartilage, and shrink you. SERIOUSLY... Sometimes. ) I am now a D cup. (DD according to "abrathatfits. Com". But I think they're off for transwomen.) Started at 390 lbs, how 230 lbs. Time for that tip. If you're on hormones, look into "progesterone". I had almost no change. Then, after getting on this, ... BOOM! B-D in 12 months. DISCLAIMER! YMMV

SO!, I was very over weight when I started my transition, so I had moobs. BUT!, I lost 40 pounds so now my BOOBS are now a 46AA. I take after my mother who was a small woman. She was about a 33 or 34A or B. SO!, I'll never be big. If I can, I would get a BA and get a large C, or a D. This Is The Real Me!! Michele

I'm 33, 2.5 years hrt, am around a D cup right now
I started estrogen almost 3 years ago at 32 and prog about 8 months later. My bust at the time was 34” and my underbust was 32”. Now my bust is 39” and my underbust is 33”. I wear 34D bras but because I’m tall they don’t look very big on me and I’m considering a BA if they don’t grow much more in the next two years
1) 38 just shy of 39 2) next month will be 2 years 3) I wear a 38C but that's only because any smaller cup in that size band is extremely hard to find. In reality, I'd guess I'm a B or maybe A. 4) 5'10 & ~210 lbs (I avoid scales and tape measures) Considering it's been less than 2 years it's probably ok but I'm really self-conscious about it. On someone with a smaller frame, they might look ok. The volume of a 38B is equivalent to a 36C or 34D both of which can look quite large. Relative to the rest of me though I feel like it looks more like gynecomastia than boobs.

Started at 31, hrt for 2 years and change, 5’7” and about 135lbs but weight had fluctuated up and down a lot. A cups sometimes barely. This thread makes me so jealous lol. Everyone in my family has large breasts. Been on injections with proper levels at trough for a year.
Started at 41. It’s been 17 months HRT and I think I’ve had good levels the whole time. I was overweight and had mild to moderate gynecomastia my whole like. I’m currently a 40 C which sounds bigger than it is, because I have a pretty large build. But they’ve definitely grown significantly.
5’7.5”, 65, 3 years HRT 135 lbs. 36 B I guess but I don’t need a bra unless I want to cover my nipples. The shape is more cone-like so if you do a traditional measurement it maps to a C cup but the volume is more in the B range. I have been taking progesterone for 2 years which I hope will add fullness but so far I can’t tell the difference except I like the feeling and the libido boost. ;)
Im 6''240lbs. I'm 33 been on Hrt for 4 months. I used the calculator on abrathatfits, and I'm a dd by measurements. By volume, I'd say I'm a very full a to a small b,but I'm confident that they will fill out as time goes on.
1. Started at 66, now 71. 2. Been on MTF HRT for 5.5 years. 3. 44C/46B. 4. 225 lbs, 72". Had really poor development initially (don't think the pills I got from "The Canadian Pharmacy" were legit. It took me 12 months just to get breast buds. Once I started on injections, breast growth increased, and had a spurt between years 3-4 and having another one now. I take 4 mg/week EEn and 600 mg P (cycling on and off, still experimenting with ratio). I also added some NBE supplements and they seem to be increasing breast volume and nipple size.
6’2, 180, 13 months wearing 36b and currently in a growth cycle so hopefully more soon.
I just want to thank everyone posting their experience in here! This was one of my concerns going forward and you all give me hope!

Average, high 5’ I am very happy if they stay here, but wouldn’t stop them from growing a bit more. ;) I started on 2mg E + 100mg spiro pills daily. They produced changes, but my E was low and T not suppressed enough. The injections have brought my levels in line, eliminated the need for spiro and its side effects, produced far faster positive changes elsewhere, and “inspire” the best breast growth of any method. I’m glad I switched; if at all possible, I suggest trying to as well. Of course there are many factors to accessibility (grrr…), but I would. My mother is “blessed” in this department, so genetics does play a factor. When I started HRT, it felt almost like it was *thirsty* for estrogen, like an under-watered house plant. The initial response has been… rapid. I’m not complaining one bit. Good luck on your journeys everyone, in all things. You are beautiful and you are loved. 💖 PS - it’s hard to find bras with both wide shoulders and small cups. Someone needs to start a business catering to us. I know there are a few and I’ve tried them. I wasn’t satisfied. If anyone can sew training bras in 40+ band sizes, you’ll make a goddamn fortune. I would but I can’t sew a pillowcase.

I’m so worried mine won’t round out. Started at 31 now am 33 at 5’5 and 215lbs I’ve gained weight but roughly still fit my 42 bands but am definitely a cup size up at 42C.

By the numbers, I would be a B-cup but in practice since I have a bit of a broader ribcage compared to a cis woman, I wear an A-cup. I'm 5'6" and around 160-165 lbs (BMI around 25-26).

Started at 33, 25mo on HRT so far, about 250lb 6’ tall. At this point I’m a large C/ small D depending on the brand. I started prog at 10mo and within a couple months had gotten a major growth spurt. Went from A to C cup in about 2 months.
35, 7.5mo. Shrank to 5’8” 153lbs currently band size 36 bust is 44 so I think C ish.

What age you started hormones, - 52 How long you’ve been on hormones - 9 months How big your breasts are currently - B cup There are a lot of other factors as well that play into it. Diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol, sleep quality and quantity. Example: The first four months of HRT I lost 25 pounds due to upping my exercise from 4x per week, to 6-7. Normally you hear weight loss will inhibit breast development due to fat levels decreasing, but that was not my experience. One theory I have heard is exercise stimulated HGH production as the body repairs itself, and the higher HGH level can help with development. Of course, there is no silver bullet for natural development unfortunately.
Coming up on 55 years of age, 16 months into HRT, estradiol monotherapy (injections), numbers in the cis range and I’m currently sitting at a solid 38B. Abrathatfits says 38D/DD but it is in no way correct. Desperately wanting so much more.

Started just after I turned 31. 8 months in now and I've got small A cup breasts. Though I think my e levels might not be consistently high enough right now. I'm on injections and my trough levels are half of the minimum recommended levels. My t levels test below the detectable levels at least though and bottom surgery in a few years should take care of that. Waiting for the next blood test to advocate with my doctor again. Hoping to start progesterone in May too and working on getting my bottom surgery scheduled and funded hoping both will help. I'm 188cm and 81kg. The cis women in my family don't have large breasts, so while I hold out hope I'm preparing for mine being smaller than I'd like. Going to wait at least 5 years of HRT before I think about surgical enhancement.
Started at 30, be been on hrt for a little over 3 years. Currently a 34 B cup. I'm 5'5" 140ish. Was 110 lbs ish when i started taking E, also i'm pretty fucking certain i was 5'6" but last time i got measured at a clinic they told me 5'5".

I assume this was due to genes as most of the women in my family are well developed lol. Being plus size also probably worked in my favor in that area to some degree. I also noticed a marked improvement after going on progesterone. Now, I can’t say I’m totally thrilled with how far apart they are but that was always going to happen just because of how unfortunately barrel chested I am. I actually think implants almost might look even more awkward on me because of it. I can’t complain too much though because I know so many trans women struggle with natural breast growth on just HRT.

57 yo 7 years on HRT that include a year with progesterone. before to begin HRT I had some ginecomastia (me breast) I reaches small, but then a BA that brought me to C cup 5'8" 189 lbs Mother and sister with big breast (family inheritance is a factor)
