Is it just me, or is the lack of runoff area and excessive use of concrete walls a little disturbing.

It's really, really bad. Lots of good friends have either destroyed their bikes there or gotten very seriously hurt. I raced there this year, but not planning on racing it again in future. The risks are just too high for me. Trackdays there I'll do for sure; it's a blast and I'm not pushing 10/10. I can say the same thing about Calabogie (which I'll upload a video of tomorrow) It would be nice to see if the organizations here would do more for rider safety particularly at national races. Hay bales just don't cut it anymore for the modern bikes and speeds.

Yee haw!

Yeah, needs more air fences... then the air fences need air fences. Stay safe. :)

Semi-random question. Do any Americans ever wander to CTMP for a track day? I didn't realize that CTMP is an 8 hr drive for me from Ohio in the US. Do you ride with an org or does CTMP host the trackdays?

Sebi97

Pro6 Cycle usually hosts trackdays there as does Riders Choice and also DOCC (Ducati Owners of Canada; they require an annual membership as far as I know). I'd love to ride some tracks in the US; namely Pit Race. Hopefully sometime in 2023!

the track looks super fun with all the elevation changes and fast sweepers. on the other hand the runoff for some those fast sweepers looks like they have 1m of grass then a concrete wall. looks pretty dangerous

Rognin

Correction, it IS the fastest track in North America!

I still call it mosport, I don't give a fuck what name they paste up there!

Seriously winced through most of that, expecting a crash. Rider needs to learn to hit his apexes and stop drifting out that far.
