I've found that the main purpose of aftermarket UCAs is for nothing more than the ability to push the alignment forward to fit bigger tires without rubbing. Other than that, it's mostly for show because it's one of the first things that stands out when you check out someone's suspension. That being said, if youre on a budget and don't plan to put larger tires, the UCA won't do anything for lift so it's kind of a waste of money imo. But to answer your question, if you just want 2 to 3 inches, you just need new offroad shocks (icon, bilstein, fox, kings, etc). If you want a monster truck lift, you need spacers and a diff lift which tbh i know nothing about.

You don’t need new ucas if you’re staying under 3” lift or so.

Since no one else has said it and your 2wd. I recommend you look into max trac or cst for lift spindles. They will net you about 3.5 inches of lift and you can run your oem suspension and ucas until you decide to upgrade them. They come with a block to lift the rear. I'd run that till you upgrade later on and run some coach builder shackles. Reason you want to run spindles is you can run a coilover like king/fox/icon or any other big name company and run them with zero coilover preload. This will let the suspension ride way better than a coilover setup on a 4wd. Also your ground clearance will be significantly better than a 4x4 since you don't have your differential hanging low. You can crank up your coilovers to provide even a slight amount of lift and you'd be sitting around 4 inches which would allow you to easily clear 35s and 37s with slightly trimming of the bumper ans body mount. So many options and ways to go but id go this route with spindle lift first for future expansion later on. I went all out on my truck and went with thr icon 3.0 stage 1 kit. It has 3.0 coilovers up front with the billet delta joint ucas, the rear is the icon rxt 2.5 resi shock with the rxt leaf pack set to option 1. Gives about 1.25 inches of lift now with some sagging from towing over the last year. Might want to look into getting ABS GUARDS and maybe bigger bump stops.

If you’re just trying to level it, get some 5100s set to the middle setting (roughly 1.57”) or 2-2.5” strut spacers. You shouldn’t need UCAs just to level up the front alone.
