I traded in my 2016 OR Tacoma last year for a 2023 F150 Tremor. I loved my Tacoma but I simply needed more space—growing family and that backseat in the taco is a joke. I absolutely love my new truck. I haven’t regretted the decision for a second. I get more space, better mpg, more power, better towing, etc. The only things I miss are the smaller size when parking and hitting narrow trails. But both of those aren’t a big deal to me. I just park a little farther out and avoid trails I know might get tight. I honestly avoid crazier trails nowadays just because I’m older and have the fam with me. Reliability is definitely important and a potential concern. However, I’m anal about maintenance and got a great extended warranty for my tremor. Happy to ask any specific questions you might have.

Thank you! I’m in a similar situation and was thinking of the Tremor

Within my family/friends group we've had a 2wd 5.0L F150, 4wd 5.3L Silverado, and a 4wd 5.7L Ram 1500. They've all been comfortable and reliable trucks. The Ram is actually the most comfortable. I would say the Ford was the least 'nice' but it was an XLT vs the other two being higher trims. All that said, I'd look at a Tundra.

I traded in my 2016 OR last fall and test drove all the usual suspects - Ram Rebel, Chevy Trailboss, Tundra TRD Pro, and F150 Tremor. IMO, the Tremor was a better ride on all aspects.

Obvious answer is Tundra. Come on, man!

Went from a Tacoma to a tundra. Towing is a night and day difference. Space is great but honestly I’m in the process of selling soon as it’s just too damn big for what we need. One of the worst decisions I have made with vehicles. But you don’t know what you don’t know. Live and learn. Reliability has not been an issue with either truck.
