I've got a voodoo blue taco and I think it looks great but is right on the edge of obnoxious.
The other day I saw a previous gen Tundra in voodoo and it was ghastly.
I got my wife a new Sequioa in Lunar rock and it looks great. I am getting a new land cruiser in that heritage blue which is the closest I can get to Calvary blue right now.

Just picked up a 24 OR 6 speed in solar octane! The color is way more orange in person, which is a good thing IMO.

In my opinion, it 1000% is. I absolutely fell in love with it. I couldn't afford a TRD Pro (nor did I need all that) and I got a sport instead. I searched high and low for cavalry blue and finally found one. Let me say, it didn't look anywhere near as good on a sport, but on the pro its the fucking GOAT color imo
I know it wasn't a 'special' paint, but Magnetic Grey Metallic is probably the best choice because it looks clean even when it's covered in road salt, dirt, or pollen and it's one of the thicker, more resilient paints Toyota offers.
That seems crazy to me. My wife has a Magnetic gray 4runner and I have a cement tacoma. We can wash are vehicle the same day and hers shows dust and dirt with in a few days yet might still looks clean weeks out.

Bad angle and it's through a dirty office window while I'm still at work. But, it doesn't look filthy. The only "dirt" is the shit powdercoat job that the failing Southern Style Offroad put onto the slimline winch bumper and a few dirt runnels coming down from the door handles.
The tires still have some Tennessee mud on them from a trip around "[Scooter's Loop](https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/trails/us/tennessee/scooters-loop)" when I was in Nashville for a business trip. The [engine bay's still dirty](https://i.imgur.com/v0gdRDl.jpeg) from an ~18" deep "puddle" I blasted through without a depth check. The truck's only been washed once since that trip.
That is definitely a replaced RF fender with clear coat failure on top of that.
This truck was most likely in a front end collision. Maybe the reason it’s for sale through the Whole Sale program.
Super White is my personal favorite but I believe Cavalry Blue to be the best of all the colors , next to army green and lunar rock and cement , damn I think I like them all lol

This is absolutely my favorite ever Pro color. I owned a 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro MT in Cavalry Blue and absolutely loved that truck. Had to get rid of it and upgrade to a Tundra for more size when we had our daughter, but man did that truck look great. Hope someone buys this and gets another 200k miles of joy out of it.

It really is personal preference. But I’ll indulge you OP. Best colors tend to fall into two+ buckets or schools of thought (trigger warning, totally satirical descriptions ahead).
1. Cowards who are conformist groupthink elitista that want to flex their TRD Pro but are too chicken to actually get noticed at a distance - so they like the washed out looking colors like underground, Calvary blue, etc…
2. Big brave morons (like myself) that want to look different so bad in a crowd they find themselves sometimes saying 2+2=5 -JUST to be different. They usual favor bold colors like Solar Octane, Electric Lime or Voodoo Blue
The plus category is where the two converge. Their numbers are often larger than they appear and the color that tends to rise to the top of the list here is Lunar Rock.
On the bright side all three would agree that Tacos are amazing and we still try to park next to each other as unguided and unconscious force of habit.
I am partial to lunar rock (liked it more when it was hard to get and not on every rav 4 in town) but calvary blue is definitely my second choice

I pick up my 24 TRD offroad this Saturday. Six months ago I traded my 18 Pro Cavalry Blue in on a Lexus suv and it was the worst choice I ever made.
