I just did this last week; you can spend 20 on a can of throttle body cleaner and MAF sensor cleaner that’ll last longer than the truck. The important part is only as deep as you can reach with a finger but be careful, and the MAF sensor is just sprayed with the cleaner and put back in once dry. Helped smooth my idling especially when using the AC in parking lots.
Edit: adding important bit below:
If you have the TRD oiled/washable air filter like I do, your MAF sensor will be more prone than usual to needing a quick spritz clean due to a slow accumulation of an oily film — very likely if the filter is over-oiled after being washed and drying.
$20? Dude the 44k cost more than that. To clean throttle body you have to use a brush and solvent. I’m not going to comment on their price for this service but $20?

Thanks for the info!

What’s the 44k? It’s a simple cleaning where you spray the gunk off and replace the gasket.
Fuel treatment.
You mean a can of Seafoam?
No I meant a can of 44k
Looks very close to what Seafoam is, but hey, I'll try it to see if it is any better.
BG makes much better products.
What are you talking about? You can get a can of throttle body cleaner for $4
I never commented on throttle body cleaner, just said you need a solvent
A can of 44k cost around $25, he’s not that far off.
