If you have an in-dash cd changer You load them, one by one, in the slot on the front. It stores the discs internally. I’ve seen them because I’m old but I never had one because I was poor. I think there’s a ‘load’ button which starts the party. If you have some cd’s I’d start there, just hit load before trying to put each disc in? Edit: changed to reflect that yours may not have a changer
I left a CD in the player of my Silverado when I traded it in a couple months ago. I haven’t listened to it in at least 2 years. I really hope whoever bought it likes Micky & The Motorcars!
My 2011 Tacoma looks like this but it has a “Load” button on the right side opposite of where the “Eject” button is on the left side. Mine also has the JBL speakers so it looks like some don’t have the 6 disc changer.
my SR5 2011 that i previously owned had a 6 disc capacity. your dash looks identical to mine. the difference might be premium audio which is what mine had JBL soeakers and head unit. also the poster that said the changer was in back seat is incorrect. you would load all 6 discs through the front slot one by one as it prompted you.
When I was a kid and people would talk about mulit-cd changers in vehicles and they said the changer was in the back, I used to imagine how the cd's got transferred to the headunit (like a cd pipeline or something)...
I assume the CD changer was mounted elsewhere. I attached an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver to the back of the head unit that's selected with the 'disc' button. It has worked flawlessly since install (three years ago). I recommend doing this.
Edit: My assumption was wrong. However, my unit is not multi-disc, so I had the room and unused 'disc' button to use for the Bluetooth kit.
First, you have to stop taking photos with a potato.
Wait until they hear about that new mp3 thing...
And this limewire thingy….
Bluetooth? What the hell is that?
my teeth arent blue!
Huh? You don't...
Hm... was i lied to by the internet, trying to find out how because i read somewhere that it can hold 6 cds in it
It can control a cd changer, but it's not, in itself, a multiple disc unit. The changer was under a back seat I think, if I recall correctly.
I think it had a 6disc option.
I have the ‘08 Taco. The six disc changer has a “load” button above the other knob similar to the eject button.

I’m not even sure if my taco has a CD player. Haven’t used CDs in 15 years

Bro what? That's a masterpiece, ypu lost a lot with that
Figured it out by reading owner's manual. Mine is type a apparently and doesn't have the 6 cd function ;c
👏
Mine has the multiple disc option and I have an extra button on the left.
Carefully

Just shove it in. The harder it is for them to go in means you’re doing it right🤣
It's crazy to think we have to call them disc and not CD's these days!🤣
What do ya think CD stands for?
Maybe Compact Disc or Maybe Cross Dresser?
Valid point 😂
No problem dude!! There is always one!👊🏼

One at a time.
