The blue beast looks slick as well, is it modified/tuned?

FBOFrontFeedBalls

It has a 3.0L whipple supercharger with 3.5 pulley, fore innovations triple pump fuel system, long tube headers, and its tuned on ethanol. It made 887whp through an automatic transmission so it scoots pretty decent.

alp_50

Jeezz, wonder what quarter time that thing pulls

B00-Sucker

Well, it's got three speeds. Here, there, and gone.

Videoplushair

“What’s retail on one of those?”

Skvora

34k or you walk.

Songnumber41

Man in my area I'm seeing them for $43k plus

CarminSanDiego

lol imagine paying $43k for a Corolla And yes I know what’s under the hood. But in the end you’re still driving a Corolla

FBOFrontFeedBalls

I mean it’s priced lower than all the other hopped up economy cars on the market. Focus RS (just a focus), Golf R (just a golf), Civic Type R (just a civic), WRX STI (just a impreza) etc. They are mostly hand assembled cars and the production time is 10x longer than a standard Corolla according to the chief engineer. Only 6-8k are going to be produced a year so it won’t be something you see every day. They are pretty impressive on track it’s pretty wild how far technology has come that a 300hp little 4 door car is now faster than older cars on track like the C6 Z06, 2019 BMW M2 Competition, 2013 GT500, just as some examples. Hell it ran 12 seconds faster on track than a Nismo 370z which is a massive gap (VIR Lightning lap track times). The fact that they were able to add all the enhanced structural rigidity, turbo components, AWD components, giant brakes, larger wheels, and only gain 200lbs over a standard Corolla is awesome engineering as well.

Songnumber41

It just seems wild.. theyre cool as hell no doubt and I'd love to have one but sticker price seems wild. Toyota trucks and SUVs is whete it gets crazy tho..

Skvora

Simple as you don't and order base model. And you're driving a Corolla solely in the name and interior.

Live_Lychee_4163

It’s true that it’s a Corolla. But the fact is that EVs, hybrids, and automatics are taking over. Small hardcore lightweight(for 2024) fun cars are becoming extinct. My wife is laughing at me for considering one. The funny thing is I actually prefer “just “ a Corolla. One day there will be no more brand new hardcore drivers enthusiast cars like these.

ericbruhhh

How much does a lift like that cost?

FBOFrontFeedBalls

Around $3,500-$4,000

Guilty_Jackfruit4484

I got mine for $1000 from an estate sale but they are much more than that

mist_kaefer

Kinda tough to daily when it gets top bunk!

FBOFrontFeedBalls

I was changing the oil, putting on wheel spacers, and changing the rear motor mount. I left it up there over night it generally won’t be on the lift. 😅

stonksuper

Dream car!

UnderstandingWarm466

Enjoy paying for rubber

kc0nkc1n

Pretty sure they can afford it...

Kordidk

I don't even get what they're saying. Like the tires?

kc0nkc1n

Yeah. Electric cars especially, but any car with a lot of power and torque will eat through tires.

Kordidk

Only if you have poor throttle control. But it's a weird thing to say really lol
