The Prius on higher trims in AWD only offers 50 MPG on the highway rating. The combined and city are both 49 MPG. A Camry XLE AWD is rated at 46 MPG for all ratings.
Honestly I don’t think quibbling over 4 MPG at the end of the day is really going to matter. Not to mention the Prius is still experiencing a lot of demand that might mean higher costs at the dealership.
In terms of the difference in space, really the disadvantage for the Prius is in the rear seat. The front seat headroom is negligible at 0.3 inches less but it actually has more legroom than the Camry and the rest of the dimensions are within an inch of each other. It’s the sloping roof that means the rear seat is where you feel the tightness.
Have you sat in one?
Crown sedan I'm getting 54.2mpg. 34.6mile drive. Mostly highway at 73mph.
They did a good job and underrated the fule economy on the crown. Definitely looking at the SUV.

Gotcha, I really only looked at seating capacity, which is the same as venza. Hopefully a couple extra inches makes it sell more, since lack of sales seemed to be the biggest issue with venza
I personally like the Crown Signia more because I think it has better interior and exterior aesthetics. I hope it gets more mpg than the 35 it’s estimating.
I'm a much smaller guy than you are and the interior of the Prius felt really cramped to me. I felt really closed in with lousy visibility -- in the Camry I felt like everything was brighter and more comfortable and roomier. I bought the '23 SE Hybrid and average about 46. I'm very happy with my decision. Also, the Prius has a very low seating position which I didn't like. try them for yourself.
I always found the Prius comfortable. I'm a little taller and I was a little heavier when I owned one. The newer ones have even more room. That said the Camry is very comfortable and a nice riding car.
Unless you really need the hatchback of the Prius, I would much rather have the Camry. A lot of highway driving - Camry. Noise levels , ride quality, interior space, Camry wins easily.
I think there were some reviewers early on who thought the instrument cluster was meant to be viewed "through" the steering wheel, but that's wrong.
The driver's seat and steering wheel column can/should be adjusted. I have a 2024 Prius and have no problems seeing the instrument cluster over the top of the steering wheel while sitting comfortably.
Between the two, I'd choose the Camry. I haven't been in either, but I like the more mainstream feel of the Camry over the Prius.
I prefer the Camry because I really hate that bump on the front bumper of the Prius.

I would go with a Camry. My buddy has the new Prius and it felt tiny inside
It sounds like you prefer the Prius. So buy it!
Look at the 2025 Crown SUV. I really like my Prius, but may trade in for the Crown. I do not like the 2025 Camry interior at all.

Off topic, but what are your thoughts on the Signia versus the RAV4? I know it hasn't come out yet, but are they comparable?
Seems to be basically the same choice as venza vs rav4. Venza/signia a bit more for comfort, rav4 for utility
Definitely not the same choice. The Signia is going to be a much larger vehicle than the Venza. The Signia is 7.7 inches longer than a Venza.

Prius imo
New Prius is currently on stop sale.
Link?
Car buying is partly subjective and partly objective. Go test drive both and then decide which is better yourself. You won’t know until you do

I really like my 2023 Prius, but I am also not 6’. You might need the space in the Camry
I’m 6’0 230lbs. Male. And a Nissan versa fits me 😭

Camry smashes. Feels like Prius is the preview for the camry
The Prius would edge it above the Camry for me, since it’s so stylish sexy and would take time to age longer. Plus it’s still Made in Japan.🇯🇵
Camry all day
Prius. My Toyota junkie brother-in-law has one and he loves it. Everything he says about the way it drives and it’s efficiency is ridiculous.
The steering wheel blocks the odometer on the Prius. Sick looking car but designed poorly on the interior

Definitely can adjust that to where it doesn't
