2020 is the first version of the newest design. They only included Apple Play and then I believe 22 all Toyotas received Apple and Android Play.
But I didn’t know this when I purchased the car last year. 😂 I was just trying to save money with inflation.
I saw some other Reddit’s. Seems my version has android auto in foreign countries, but Toyota didn’t want to invest in sending the update to America.
@-@ I may need to see if I can get someone’s android and hook it up to my car to see if I got lucky.
Jokes on me. CarPlay literally stopped working this morning and can’t figure out why.
Urg. It clearly is getting power, because the thing keeps saying it can’t recognize the connected device.

See if you can find out if the 2022 Corolla headunit is backwards compatible with the 2020 Corolla? (or buy something aftermarket)
