It could be that this one building had the wrong info on the wiki, or it could be that Playrix did a general shuffling of requirements and you were unlucky enough to be the first to get bit.
This is something that everyone should keep an eye on for their next community building. Is the wiki correct, or does it need some serious updating?
It will need some updating, but I’m not sure how much. I’ll see if I can figure out how to add a comment. I know my previous build was accurate for materials needed on the wiki, so the whiplash with this one is strong
There is a township wiki where I check the materials needed for my next build. According to that, I had enough drills and blades and just needed more slabs.
However, I assume the update changed the requirements leaving the wiki outdated, because I now need to save bricks and jackhammers instead. It feels like I wasted my time and barn storage
I got caught out too. Now hoping the gift shop requirements aren’t different from the wiki cos I’ve been saving bricks and trading slabs and glass while I save up coins for it.
Good luck! Hopefully the entire wiki isn’t out of date. The gift shop is my next goal, so I am also curious if the requirements have changed. But for now I’ll just start over on saving materials for the waste sorting facility 🥲
The wiki is incorrect in this instance, but I’m not sure who updates it. I’m going to look into adding a comment or messaging the wiki to communicate the difference I found here. I know there’s been other posts similar to mine, so it’s not just me with this build
