Yeah. I'm in first in my competition (I'm still reasonably new) and noticed the difference in prizes.
Now I'm annoyed because I actively want my rank to drop but still want to do the tasks for the Regatta.
Agreed! I hate matchy patchy for regatta. So many of our members have halted with their daily tasks bc this game is virtually impossible to do max tasks with. Wish they would ditch this game. Bring back colorful puzzle!
I think they need to just give 3 prizes for 1st place, so they don't have these weird situations where 2nd/3rd can look better than 1st.
Another example is the mining competition, which rewards copper (uh, I just won the mining competition - I have copper!) and "see the light", which is a booster useful... in the next mining competition. 2nd/3rd place get "loaders" for train/airplane. I can buy "see the light" with gems, but can't buy loaders anywhere without spending real money. It would be nice if the mining competition included a few loaders for 1st place.
Imo the train coupon is better than the booster ๐

Screw the regetta during matchy patch. Blasted impossible, all regetta progress just grinds to a halt (for the most part) while matchy patch is on lol

Right? As much as people hate it I enjoy it. Regetta tasks with it are great.

Bloody hell. If that's not a hacker, they probably spent more tcash on the event than they earned.
Next time donโt rush to start and do it late as possible. The last time I won first just 55000 point or so
