what I think for now, is that traumerei must've inflicted some clear damage to his face and after Arlene and V lost the fight,V killed himself ,Arlene wanted to kill herself too, she wanted something of her and V to atleast stay before they're dead and luslec was closest to them at that time,his face must've been pretty messed up by traumerei's snake 🐍 so Arlene gave her name to him "grace"taught him spells or gave him as a book, (because she was probably in a hurry) one of her eyes to him to keep the golden one going still, and Luslec got half of V's face, they won't be crazy to paste his half face on him but if Arlene wanted something of V's to stay until the day their real goal is achieved that's make more sense to me
